  1. Yeah, he had bad intel about kuwait, that is why he invaded... errr, i mean he did a preemptive strike. about gassing the kurds... bad intel too, he thought they were going to use WMD first.
  2. Why is it wrong? I can understand why you think cheating to your wife is wrong, you would be hurting someone else, but if you don´t hurt anyone else, do as you please. Yes, i am aware that homosexual intercourse does not help much to perpetuate the specie, but neither does anal sex beetwen a man and a woman or sex with condoms. If we agree that sex is not only a mean to have kids, heterosexual sex or homosexual sex comes down to personal preferences. Sometimes i feel more comfortable telling my worries to a male friend, or just to be around males. Does it make me homosentimental? The only thing I cannot stand are those gays that make a show off of their sexuality. BTW, sorry if I made up a couple of words... The POTUS does that to.
  3. I cannot understand how so many military DZ comers apreciate him so much if he says bullshit like that
  4. Saddam will get an (un)fair trial in Iraq, he will be hanged from the neck and his face hit with a shoe. Now, i don´t think that he doesn´t deserve it or anything like that. However, the most curious spectator will be Kim whatever from N.Korea. When he sees SH fate, you can be dammed sure that he will make stock WMD to use it against you if diplomacy fails at some point. So much for the war on terror. The wisest thing would be to hand over SH to an international court where he will be kept in jail forever.
  5. I would praise him more if he had the big cojones to go fight his war himself, or at least enlist her daughters. Oh, sorry, i forgot that he truly is the peace president, and he prefers others to do the job. With that i fully agree. Was everybody like Bush, no one would be fighting in the war. We would be telling eachother to go and fight but no one would actually do it.
  6. LMAO, yeah, and have a few beers first to celebrate the forecoming win in the elections.

    Iran

Do you have any prove of that. See, it seems to me that it is only is a cheap excuse for the slaughter commited everyday in Irak. I mean, if the collateral damage was made mostly in close combat, well, i may buy it. But most of the collateral damage is made from the air. Is the pilot so naive to pretend that all the terrorist are going to get together in the dessert so they can be bombed at leisure? Isn´t the pilot aware that he is bombing a fucking city? That the U.S will not go out of their way to kill an innocent is not argued, however, give the U.S air force a target and it has the same regard for nearby innocent human lives as terrorists.
  8. What about if God didn´t exist? has any believer wondered that? If we put faith aside, i have more proof of dinosaurs than God.
  9. The other option is to build houses in Palestina so the Israely army has something to demolish for the next 15 days.
  10. I thought for a moment that it was the times that bush has been caught lieing. But then realizing that Bush has lied more times and it comes from you i would go for the times that kerry has flip-flopped so far.
  11. The U.S government needs to give its population a moral justification for the atrocities commited in Irak to make war more pallatable to his population. "The U.S army kill 3 terrorists in Irak, among the death people there is 3 woman and an 8 year old kid" Think about what anybody with common sense would think about the war if that was the kind of headlight that have appeared for the last year in the U.S newspaper. So the media (controled by the government) called those kills collateral damage and moraly justify them by saying that terrorists hide among civilians, that those civilians help terrorist, etc, etc. But that doesn´t change the fact that the father of that 8 years old kid killed by a bomb is going to be mightly pissed to say the least to whoever dropped that bomb. He will not care if you call it collateral damage or accident, you have killed his son and he may want revenge. Like Michele, i wouldn´t bomb a school full of american children, however, i would do my best to kill anyone with an U.S uniform or anyone who helps them if i was that father. There you go, one more terrorist. Now, if one of the three woman kill in that hipotetic headline was his wife, and the bomb had fallen in his house (scenario that happens regularly in Irak), you would have a terrorist pissed to no end. It wouldn´t be hard at all for alqaueda to go to him, tell him that they will be his family, they will give him shelter and Allah will give you love, and we will help you get your revenge. He may be the next one who blows a building in the U.S. This war on terror is helping AlQuaeda more than what anyone would be comfortable with.
  12. At the begining of ETA there was no talk about independence from spain as far as i know, they were just fighting Franco because they were opresed. Mainly, to think about getting independence from a country ruled by a dictator was quite ridiculous. They are not stronger economically that the rest of spain, it all comes down to what region you compared them. As a matter of fact, they DO NOT WANT the independence, they want the right to choose wether they want it or not. There is a diference, they could not allowed to be independent for they would not be part of Europe anymore. That is what they call "derecho a la autodeterminación". And the rest of spain cannot give them that right because if they do, the Cataluña will want it too, and they could get the independence and have some chances to be part of Europe. About the genetic superiority... it is only an old senile politician (Arzallus) who sais that. And he regrets it for everybody takes the piss out of him ever since. Can you post a link? i haven´t found much relevant to that issue. Sometimes people get confused about terrorist and Freedom fighters. ETA are terrorists.
  13. FYI It was against the whole regime, They wanted to maintein their tradition and language while Franco was trying to forbade them. ETA had some simpathy from the Republican side of Spain I doubt it. Their claims are not much diferent from what the islamic world want from the U.S. although in a very diferent context. , even though their communist utopian ideals were severely misguided and unattainable, IMO. They never had communist ideas, maybe a bit towards the left at first, but never communist. Some still do. Yep, although they are the region in Europe who has the biggest independence from its country.
  14. Zero-tolerance towards guns means that guns are illegal in the highschool, right? sort of like cocaine... Would you think it is apropiate that this kid take his picture with one dollar bill rolled up his nose even if he wasn´t snorting cocaine?
  15. A WMD has been used before as a deterrent for war. Think about the cold war, if the U.S or the URSS had not have WMD probably the other would have engaged in a nuclear or conventional war. Also, many people sais in this forum (I disagree though) that the bombs at Hiroshima and Nagasaki saved a lot of lives by stopping the war. Europeans (cannot speak for all though) tend to value equality and common sense. We fail to understand why it is so terrible the thought of Iran with WMD while the U.S have them. To us, the U.S is a country that is constantly engaging in wars, and the current president doesn´t give us the slightest confidence that he will use responsibly his WMD (ie, not using them). If you honestly look at the big picture, you will realize that there is many countries that should not have WMD like Israel, however the U.S provides WMD to Israel. If we are going to be fair, who gives the U.S the right to decide who has WMD and who doesn´t?
  16. Yes, but it doesn´t mean you have "the right" to strip a sovereign country of their mean to self defense.
  17. Dude, if you don´t want to make a fool of yourself, i recomend you to do some research before posting stuff like that. The big bad Saddm Hussein was supported by the U.S. Didn´t you know that? Please tell me that in your proofreading career you only check grammar and not the contents.
  18. There is a big diference beetwen having the right to and wanting to. The U.S is not regulated when it comes to Nuclear bombs and to many people is the biggest danger to world peace.
  19. You got a point there. First it war about WMD, then it was to free the Irakies, then it was about terrorism, and now it seems to be something else....
  20. Fund them and give them your support to help you defeat the URSS. Dude, the u.S needs to make up it´s mind about who its allies are and be consistent about it. Messing with nut and inestable governments will only lead to more terrorist attacks.
  21. I find something quite ironic. Most people who are pro-gun (not all though) and therefore very touch about their right to defend themselves are also republicans who support this war. If you are attacked in the middle of the street by someone who tries to rob you and you would shoot him down, wouldn´t you do it with a foreigner who wants to harm your family? Then why cannot you understand that they feel exactly the same way than you. They are reacting exactly the same way you would be reacting if you where in his shoes. Are you a terrorist as well?
  22. Don´t hijack this thread!!!! We are not talking about Bush this time!!!
  23. He was lucky. Had he have carried a gun, he could have drawn it only to find out that the other guy was a bit faster and not only would have lost his wallet, but also his life.
