ISI involvement could be quite likely, but I don't think its senior leadership would approve of such. Probably one or two of its members were involved at some level. Lots of variables in the Pakistan equation. For some odd reason my gut is telling me Musharraf didn't do this or approve of it. Say waht you like about the ISI and Musharraf, they love their country and I don't think they would destabilize it so. If the Pakistani people accept this as the work of AQ and its supporters in the Waziristan/border areas, then the Pakistani military will begin operations there soon. They'll likely do so anyway. Read that a while back and thought it was a fantastic read.

Interesting toy. My tops were McCain, Paul, and Romney with Kucinich at the bottom. Not far off, I would think, but not exactly a match either.

This is really sad. Think what one may of the charges of corruption under her two different tenures, you have to admire her bravery for returning to Pakistan. Lots of possibilities over who was responsible. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!

Would Huckabee make a good pres? Dunno. Better than some and worse than others. Bill Richardson, as much as I disagree with many of his positions, is probably one of the best out there. He'll never make the ticket. In today's environs, it's who you're voting against more than anything else. Huckabee's ad is fantastic. It appeals to some people who are idiots, but resonates with others who are not. Is it any different than an ad by a democrat with racist/bigot Jack$on or $harpton appealing to idiots who identify themselves by their race stating that Republican candidate X wants to keep people of this/that race from succeeding in life? Not really. Far more classy, truth be told. Huckabee has his faults, but so do other candidates.

Coll's book is a SUPERB read and should be required reading for every high school senior. I recommend it for everyone. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!

It's been far too long since I had a jump at Florida's greatest DZ - Zhills. However, as a man with a bit o' time in the cockpit of cessnas and a skydiver it sounds to me like your friend was embellishing the truth more than a bit. Anything is possible, but what you're relaying is improbable. My US$0.02. I have the day off tomorrow, and for the first time in a while am sipping tequila in somewhat adequate amounts... Interesting...seaman second class...I've a few years in the Navy and there is no such rank. Perhaps Mr. Knight served in the Navy of another country. Petty Officer Second Class exists. I think you hit the nail on the head with CNN's choice of video. They picked an issue - DADT - that's not really important to the majority of the Republican base and made it a question in a national debate. Rather than have the candidates speak on issues important to the conservative base, they instead chose questions from supporters of the opposition party and forced the candidates to speak on issues important to the opposition, thus harming the party for the impending election. Mortal harm? No. Harm nonetheless? Absolutely. Then again, I didn't need this episode to know that network is disgustingly biased to the left. Anybody who saw 'war on the middle class' during the last election cycle with even an ounce of objectivity could see the blatant bias. Haven't heard Mr. Bennett's take on this, but if you've a problem with somebody not serving because of bad knees, then by all means tell us why you think people with knee conditions precluding entry to the service should serve. If you're incapable of doing so, why should we take your swipe at him seriously for not serving? Furthermore, why do you think people who don't serve in the military have no right to voice opinions about the military, its composition, or its employment, out of curiousity? If FOX were hosting a debate and blatant Romney or Giuliani supporters asked a few hard hitting questions, the screams from the leftists about FOX being nothing but a conservative bully pulpit would be heard all the way in Cape Town, Windhoek, Paris, and Tokyo. Primaries are for the parties. The general election is for everyone. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!

NEWSFLASH: Primaries are for the parties themselves. The correct forum for others is the open election. I wouldn't really have a problem with Dims asking questions if they were undecided and might vote for a republican candidate or Republicans who might vote for a dem candidate asking questions during a dem primary debate. That's not the case here. These guys had already decided who they're supporting in the upcoming election. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!

I think it preposterous that people who will definitely NOT be voting in the Republican primary are asking questions and not those who will be voting in the primary. I think it absurd. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!

Not racists? Perhaps you should look up the definition of racist. Face the fact whenever you like. There is no revisionism. Get your facts straight. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!

Remian in the shadows? Obviously not. Bigots Jack$on, $haprton and Farrakhan are quite the public figures. As are the folks they associate with. The DemoKKKratic Party DOES field candidates for every election, does it not? Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!

I gloss over nothing. Jeb is the best of the Bush bunch in my opinion. If you disagree - that's your opinion. i find it most odd you associate opposition to racial discrimination under any guise to KKK membership. In contrast, I associate SUPPORT of racial discrimination for any purpose other than law enforcement with KKK membership. How do you explain that, out of curiosity? Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!

Ahhh...no denial. So when Jeb Bush - who is not my hero - associates with certain people it's apropos to malign him as unfit for office. When racists and bigots associate with candidates of YOUR persuasion, it's OK to consider them fit for office. I see.... There you go again, as our nation's greatest president once stated. Why is it you insist on bringing up Mr. Barbour's color? I consider it irrelevant. Then again, Messrs. $harpton, Farrakhan, and Jack$on certainly consider it relevant, all three being racially prejudiced bigots of the lowest order, and they DO associate with politicians of your persuasion, so perhaps that's the reason. I LAUD Mr. Barbour's opposition to racial discrimination under the guise of affirmative action. Anyone who supports race based affirmative action and refuses to state that they support racial discrimination is a coward who cannot state what they support and has absolutely ZERO credibility when discussing civil rights with anyone. Again, notice the hypocrisy. Jeb Bush associates with possibly crooked businessmen - bad. Mr. Barbor associates with CCC members - he's bad too. The ENTIRE DEMOCRATIC PARTY at the national level associates with racially prejudiced bigots during EVERY ELECTION CYCLE FOR THE PAST DECADE AND BEYONE - no problem. Hunky dory. LMFAO. Balance indeed. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!

I lived in FL during much of his time in office and thought he did a great job. If you don't - that's your opinion and you're welcome to it.

Get a grip yourself. Perhaps you fail to realize that to many of us, voting for President is making a choice between the lesser of two evils, and we find the alternate candidate so disgusting that we vote for their opponent who has the greatest chance of victory. Mother Jones associates Jeb Bush with Messrs. Houston, Paderna, et al. If such associations bother you, then why don't the associations of bigots $harpton, Jack$on, and Farrakhan with Democratic party presidential candidates bother you more? After all, the malign influence those three bastards have had on the nation and its culture are FAR greater than anything Houston, Paderna, et al ever did with Jeb Bush (if what MJ stated is true, which I doubt). Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!

Jeb Bush isn't my hero. And Mother Jones is the antithesis of unbiased. If you held the same standard of evidence for the transgressions of the Clintonistas as for the Bushes then you'd be calling for their indictment.
