  1. I could take my video camera to any Obama rally and get similar results. Fucktards stating McCain is a racist, Republicans are responsible for the credit mess (it's actually a combination of many things), McSame, McCain hates poor people, no tax cuts for the rich, etc. In fact, way back when I actually listened to Rush somewhat regularly and he had a TV show, Rush did just that. It was pretty fucking hilarious. Come to think of it, I might tune in today if I can find a station - I haven't listened to him in quite some time and I've got the day off. Rather hear Boortz, but I'll see what I can find. Haven't listened to talk radio in forever. I think anyone that gets their news from a sole-source is a fucking moron. The Economist, BBC, and the Wall Street Journal are my favorites, though I like FOX as well. CNN on occasion - and sometimes it's not even biased out the ass. 3. Some of them were dumbfucks. And some of them were responding to hecklers. Find me one talk radio host that said ACORN was to blame for the current economic mess as one of those fellows stated. Just one. Your video shows nothing. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!

  7. How in the name of all that's holy did you infer I support such an action, out of curiosity? Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
  8. Oh, I expect an Obama win...without my vote, to be sure. Does that mean I'll abandon all sense and become a socialist? Not by a long shot. Does that make anything I've stated incorrect? Not by a long shot. It means we'll have four years of Democrats in control of the executive branch of government. And probably a left leaning congress, though I hope the Republicans maintain at least 41 members of the Senate. My statements RE the Gibson-Palin interview are dead on. Leftists can deal with that however they like. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
  9. Were you to pay attention to politics, you'd realize that the Bush Doctrine could be one of several things. As I stated earlier - it's impossible for anyone with a three digit IQ to place the questions asked of Gov. Palin by Charlie Gibson next to those asked of Sen. Obama by Gibson and come to the conclusion that the man gave Palin's interview free of bias. Cannot be done. Period. When you've faced reality and seen that, get back to me about the Governor's intellect. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!

  11. Read up a bit, get your facts straight, and get back to us. Given the inaccuracies in your post, that could take quite some time. Don't worry...we'll be here. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
  12. Oh, I think a politician will have to do just that Bill, or we're going to pay a heavy price as a society. McCain at least has credibility on cutting discretionary spending and has stated that entitlement spending is unsustainable. That's a start. Military/VA benefits would be the last thing he (or any democrat) would want to cut. But I think he would put them on the table with every other entitlement program and say 'it's time to face reality'. He's been screaming about spending for years. A McCain budget cycle will be something to behold I believe. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
  13. I don't think Palin is as dumb as she has been made out to be. WRT handling the press and being ready for political attacks, I think she was unready for the national political stage, but for guts to take on existing paradigms and conservative beliefs, I like her quite a bit. Reagan is my favorite president - one of them at any rate - and he was not as smart as El Jefe Clintonista. Carter is an EXTREMELY intelligent man in many regards - and he's made a fucktard of himself recently; and was a piss poor president. Nixon was absolutely brilliant - possibly the smartest president ever - and look what he ended up doing to himself domestically. He was impeached for the LEAST of his evils. Palin has been gunned for since coming on the national scene - for myriad reasons. The left cannot STAND conservative women. They've proven themselves cowards by attacking her daughter vice her in several cases, they're making a porn flick about her, and their sycophants in the media have been after her like nothing else. She interviews fairly poorly - a vestige of her inexperience in handling the national media. As a speaker, she's actually quite good. However, it is impossible for anyone with a three digit IQ - and yours is high in the three digits - to place the questions Charlie Gibson asked Sen. Obama beside the ones he asked Sarah Palin and come to the conclusion that he's an unbiased interviewer. It cannot be done. Period. Hugh Hewitt had some great comments on how she's been interviewed by the press. Had Palin been interviewed in the same manner as afforded Obama, her image would be far better. Though I still think she wouldn't have interviewed as well as Obama. In particular about the ticket, despite GWB pissing me off, I have not given up my conservative principles - those that remain; my libertarian leanings override many of them - though I don't necessarily think the next president should necessarily be a staunch conservative (McCain is not a real one), he's by far the better choice. I think we need a leader. I think we need somebody with the guts to face reality when it comes to the budget as well as foreign policy. Reality cannot be faced without placing EVERY SINGLE ENTITLEMENT PROGRAM as well as 100% of discretionary spending on the table for consideration of elimination or reduction. No exception. There is NO democrat that can do that and get re-elected. There is NO way anyone who supports expanding entitlement programs can do that. Period. Somebody who has been an avid opponent of earmark spending and government largesse in the past has that political capital. McCain even said in the last debate that we have to face the fact that our entitlement programs are not sustainable (paraphrased here, but he said that). The same realistic approach needs to be taken with the tax code. Again - the Dems cannot put forth a reasonable tax plan because they've convinced their base that the rich and corporations must pay, pay, pay, pay, pay. Ala Walter Mondale's infamous 'tax the hell out of them' comment from years past, that's what they've got their base believing. Republicans have raised taxes in the past when necessary - and been punished for it. Bush the Elder did a poor job doing it and increased them far too much. Do I think he'll face reality 100%? Probably not as much as needs to be done, but he'll go FAR further than Obama ever could merely because of his past record and his being unafraid to piss off his party. The aforementioned along with my utter hatred of socialism is how I can support that ticket, mein Freund - and am proud to do so.
  14. Well, take a look at the Democratic attack machine over the past twenty years or so. They relish calling right wing folks Nazis almost as much as they relish calling them racists - not quite, but almost. The Nazi connection plays right into this psyche of theirs, regardless of its efficacy among those who think about it. Once accused, its taken as Gospel among leftists regardless of what other facts might exist. It's an easy way to curry favor among supporters of the DNC's candidate who are intellectually challenged. This is one of many ways the left attacks this large portion of their base. Other strategies include the 'if you don't vote for Obama you're a racist' strategy or their moronic 'if you criticize Obama for any reason, it's because of his race' strategy that's been employed from time to time. Wealth envy is another one. Attacks against corporations is a subset of the wealth envy strategy in which the left ingratiates themselves to their ignorant base by bashing corporations vice the achievers that run them (they'll bash the achievers later - 'tax cuts for the rich' must be stated repeatedly). Al Gore further refined this to 'Big Oil' in his last campaign. Do Republicans do the same thing? Absolutely. For example, their evangelical Christian base will ALWAYS come out WRT abortion, despite the fact that it will never be 100% illegal in this country even if Roe vs Wade was overturned, screaming that if you vote for the Democratic candidate you'll be endorsing the murder of babies. You just don't hear them as much as you do with the Dems. The right will also have their anti-drug fanatics screaming about the evils of marijuana legalization and calling its supporters evil, anti-religious pot-heads. Among the lower intellectual levels of the right, it will be effective. There are dumbfucks on both sides of the ideological fence, but in my experience following politics over the years the majority of advertising and campaigning aimed at dumbfucks comes from the Democrats. And it's been effective for them.
  15. Such a horrid combination of which you speak. What a nightmare. I don't think many conservatives will be leaving the nation. We made too much fun of dumbfuck liberals for promising to do so and not following through (unfortunately). Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
  16. Blaming death squad activity on Reagan before 1980? And he was sworn in in Jan 81? Dear God. No fucking way am I buying it and nor should you. Telling anti-communist forces that Reagan would be an ally for them is an absolutely true statement. Why would this surprise you or anyone else? Fascists being part of an anti-communist organization shouldn't surprise you either. The two types of government are diametrically opposed. 1966 - 1945 = 21 years. I don't think all members of Germany's defeated WW II military should have been executed, nor do I believe all of them were intrinsically evil, though many were and did evil deeds. Former SS members undoubtedly did good and evil things between the end of the war and their death. Contributing to anti-communist movements and even leading them should probably be amongst the good ones, though I'm sure socialists would disagree. Having a three digit IQ, if you want me to believe any organization with members of Germany's WW II military machine 21 years after the war's end are indeed intrinsically evil, you're going to have to do much better than what you've presented here. A LOT better. Furthermore, what were the communists doing down there? All but exterminating the Mosquito indians if memory serves, amongst other heinous things. Death squads were not unleashed in paradise against innocent angels. The Cold War had a lot of collateral damage that was repulsive and sad - losing it would have been a disaster for the world (cry away, socialists; that's a fact of life). I detest communism and with benefit of hindsight, know what evil the Soviets unleashed upon the world and their own people. I've no issue with those who opposed it 20 years ago merely for their cause. So far you've shown nothing substantive, though I can see why such things would rile up those seeking Obama's election, given the intellectual make up of that group. 17. Suuuuuure he is. Not to CAGW...or the majority of the country. It's not like he votes 'present' most of the time he shows up to vote...or won't state what he supports...or won't buck his party...or has the most conservative record in the Senate. 20. 1981...what a great year...Reagan was in office...hard to believe it was 27 years ago. I can understand why Socialists would be upset at anyone's membership in an organization whose purpose was to stop communism. Small wonder it's got liberal thongs in a bunch. I'm unfamiliar with this organization and can't comment, but with regard to a 'haven for extremists, racists and anti-Semites' if you'll look at Farrakhan's group - you've got such a beast. $harpton's group as well. 21. I don't think it's widespread as you might think, but that's just me. I believe many people with advanced education are the targets of the ire and hatred of the less educated among us because of jealousy. The fact that more education many times equates to a higher salary and standard of living further fuels that jealousy, which in turn fuels ire and hatred which are projected onto the folks with advanced degrees. The fact that one has to work hard for those degrees is irrelevant to those projecting that ire. The fact that those with such degrees work hard at their job in order to become successful post-graduation is also irrelevant to those projecting the hatred of which you speak. You see class envy used as a tool in almost every election cycle. It's nothing new. "Tax cuts for the rich" and "tax cuts for working families" abound from Republican and Democrat during every election cycle. I'd like for somebody to show me the non-working electorate some day. They're quite few in number. The rich are out there - and they work their asses off for the most part. Those who have achieved will always face jealousy from those who have not - and some of those jealous folks choose to release that jealousy in a non-constructive manner. I have no problem with higher education and think we as a society do naught but benefit from increased levels of education for all. The failure of the public school system in many cases is one of the worst tragedies we as a nation must confront. 23. Vinny's Veggie Burritos tortillas 1 can black beans 1 cups thawed frozen corn 1 cup salsa 2 heaping spoons of sour cream (optional) 1 heaping spoonful of guacamole (optional) shredded mexican cheese mix Open the beans and rinse in a strainer (reduces the sodium and you don't lose taste). Combine the beans, corn, & salsa and mix thoroughly in a bowl. Add guac and/or sour cream and mix again. Lay out tortilla, add mix and then add some cheese to taste. Roll and nuke. Delicious. Coconut Ginger Noodle Bowl from badass Grit restaraunt For the sauce: 3 tbsp olive oil 3 tbsp finely minced fresh ginger 2 tbsp finely minced garlic 2 (14 oz cans) coconut milk 1/2 cup shredded coconut (sweetened or unsweetened) 1/4 cup soy sauce 1/4 cup apricot preserves 1 teaspoon Sriracha chili sauce (oriental stores will have this; DAMNED good on anything oriental and spicy) 3/4 tsp salt 1/2 tsp ginger powder 1/4 tsp tumeric 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper 4 tsp cornstarch 1/2 cup water For the rest: your choice of noodles your choice of veggies to sautee (brocolli, squash and mushrooms are good) About 1 c or so of each should do nicely. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil. Blend cornstarch into water and add to sacue. Stir frequently, bringing mixture to a full boil for at least a minute or so until slightly thickened.
