  1. Correct. And Gratz vs. Bollinger was one of the worst decisions in the last 50 years SCOTUS has made. Kelo vs New London was far worse. YOU going to tell us why judging people by their race is acceptable to the left, Sir John? Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
  2. I have a far better idea. How about YOU go do some research, learn a few things, and get back to us. You can start with the following: - Compare and contrast over the past decade the average pay for workers in unionized GM plants vs Toyota and Honda plants. You'll find that until a couple of years ago, the disparity was HUGE. - Once you've done the above, please enlighten us as to how corporations with labor costs far in excess of their competitors will every be competitive? - Tell me how any company who pays people when they are not adding value to the company (i.e. not working, as in a job bank) will be profitable over the long haul. Eager to hear that one! Once you've done the above - we'll continue. Happy learning! Explain to me how Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
  3. Thank you for making my point. Management's only option was to harm the corporation and incur the wrath of the shareholders (their true bosses)...other than acquiesce to absurd union demands for salary, benefits, and job banks. You see, sir John et al - Unions forced management's hand...and directly contributed to the demise of these companies. Chapter 11 awaits! 4. I like the new avatar - that's one of my favorite paintings.
  5. This from the fellow who believes unions have nothing to do with the predicament the Detroit automakers are in right now? Bwaaaaahahahahaaahahahahahahahahaaaaaaa! I'm going to grin whilst making my breakfast and all the way to the DZ!!!! Er...then again, I'm always smiling incessantly anyway. Holy shit that's fun. 6. Ha! You really should read a bit more. I grew in in the South. I know that small group of fucktards and know who they vote for. I see the bumper stickers on their cars when I go home to visit on occasion during any election season. Other Dems in the area shun them, but welcome their votes come election day. Deny the truth all you desire, your delusion will not change that fact. My talking points on race are pretty simple - I don't care what color anyone is and have naught but contempt for any person or government program that does. Ward Connerly's ACRI group is pretty much on point with what I beleve - race has no place in American law or life. It's always AMAZING to me how bigots who support racial discrimination have managed to dupe fucking idiots into believing they've moral credibility when discussing civil rights. Even more amazing to me is how that same group of bigots have managed to infer, with credibility among the dumbfucks among the populace, that if you don't support their programs of racial discrimination and give to their causes, that you're a racist. These cowardly bigots truly are hilarious in the abstract. And a very easy sort to motivate to the polls due to the strength of their beliefs - and low level of their intellect. The Dems have been doing it for years, though to his credit, Obama didn't seem to make that a focus personally - he let sycophants handle it for him. Equally amazing is how these fucktards run like cowards whenever you ask them a question that forces them to face the truth about what they support. They'll call you a racist, infer you're a racist - or a bigot, Nazi, KKK member; etc. They'll do so loudly and with vitriol. But they'll never answer a simple question - such as whey they care what color they are or why I should join them in supporting racial discrimination under any guise. They run because they're cowards who lack the courage to face the truth about both themselves and that which they support. As far as I'm concerned, these liars, bigots, and cowards can howl at the moon, the public, the rocks, the trees, and the birds and the bees their beliefs about me. I've better things to do with my time than give homage to the arrogance of idiots. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
  7. Perhaps. And how many democrats support racial discrimination for collegiate admission and federal employment? WHat percentage of them run like cowards every single time they're called upon to state that which they so ardently support? Very, very many of them. Lots in common with the KKK. The KKK supports racial discrimination - so do the Dems (it's in their platform)! The KKK hide like cowards behind hoods - the Dems run like cowards and can't tell their base what they support! Nice fit for one another. If the KKK would give a few race waivers, they'd REALLY increase their membership from their fellow bigots and cowards in the DNC. 8. Not sure where your quotes came from, but such people stating them would be welcomed by the KKK in all likelihood. Such people are also no less racist than those who voted for the President-elect because of his race. How many such people do you think there were, perchance? And, yes, the KKK is mainly comprised of democrats. Those fucktards aren't smart enough not to depend on government entitlements. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
  9. Really? Odd...one would think their opposition to racial discrimination would preclude them from membership in that bunch of sheet-wearing-fucktards. I haven't seen an application form, but one would think that a prerequisite. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
  10. Adding a flag behind a general is news? Dear Lord... Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
  11. Since most KKK fucktards are Democrats, I surmise many Dems will be a bit surprised a slight bit by virulent hatred of some of their fellow party members against their annointed. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
  12. Or perhaps they could use the $$ to buy a ticket to KallendWorld where cost of manpower doesn't factor into the cash flow statement! Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
  13. TheAnvil

    Pirates

It took US leadership to thwart the Barbary pirates in the nascent stages of the republic. It will probably take US leadership again to thwart these bastards. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
  14. Never stated it was. And again, if you think unions are blameless here, you are not facing reality. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
  15. Again - if you think unions had no part, you are not facing reality. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
  16. Not at all, sir John. You really should read a bit more carefully. I blame management for their decisions. I blame unions for driving up labor costs and putting management into a hole with regards to managing its workforce. You, in contrast, refuse to place any blame whatsoever on your beloved unions. Tsk tsk tsk. When you're ready to face reality, please, by all means, get back to us. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
  17. Japanese probably wouldn't keep the factory locations the same. They'd likely move them elsewhere were they to take over. I don't support loaning anyone any money to take these companies over. Let them declare bankruptcy and then let capitalism work. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
  18. When you've realized that corporations exist to make a profit and not to provide jobs, get back to us. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
  19. Again - were management able to fire and lay off at will, thereby managing manpower as a company should, GM would not be in this situation. The unions are just as much to blame as management here. And now both are going to pay the price. CEO salaries are between the CEO and the shareholders/board of directors. I could care less about them. Such wealth/class envy things have never been an issue for me. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
  20. Again, you avoid facing reality. By not standing up to the unions harder in the past, management has hurt the company. You think union demands and leveraging to be a non-factor, apparently. Face reality whenever you like. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
  21. Au contraire I am facing reality. And reality is that corporation X competing with corporation Y will always be at a marked disadvantage if corporation X's manpower costs are far greater. Fact: UAW helped put Detroit's big three in the position they are today. Was management blameless? No. Did UAW play a major role? Absolutely. Deal with it whenever you so desire. A fact it remains. And when the big three go bankrupt (dear God PLEASE don't let them get bailed out by the gov't) and the UAW doesn't have $$ to send to democrats, do you think those congressmen will still invite them to parties and send them Christmas cards out of the goodness of their hearts? Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
  22. And in a down economy with an unpopular incumbent party, still couldn't pull off 60% of the vote. Or even 55%. mandate, sir John?
  23. Still avoiding reality, eh John? You must love those unions so. Actually, it's not the unions, but the dollars they donate to the democrats. But saying it's the unions you so love is apropos I suppose. It is management's job to run the company. When faced with an organized work force that has lost sight of the fact that corporations exist to produce profits for shareholders and not to provide jobs, that job becomes difficult. If not impossible. Not facing that fact is not facing reality. Facing reality is much easier the sooner you do it. I highly recommend it. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
  24. Bullshit. Not facing the fact that unions and the increased labor costs associated with them added to this problem significantly is simply not facing reality. Time for these companies to go the way of the dodo. They've been slow in the dying process, but dead they are. It would be better to take that $25 billion and set it on fire than give it to them. When they go under, maybe UAW will have the courage to look in the mirror and say 'I helped but them out of business' but I doubt it. Unions weren't sorry they put Eastern Airlines out of business. They won't be sorry about GM, Ford, & Chrysler either. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
  25. Not that alone. It's the unions pushing labor costs so goddamned high as well. UAW didn't wisen up to the fact that corporations exist to make a profit and not to give people jobs until just a few years ago. Far too late. MAJOR contributor to the current problems at auto makers in the US. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
