    I think the economic ties that have been growing between the two nations over the past several years will deter any invasion attempt. All of this recent activity has been political posturing. There was an article on that in THE ECONOMIST a few weeks ago. Quite interesting.

    OK. I have to post this story about a dude from my home town. This dumbass who went to high school with me was sitting on his back porch, drunk off of his ass during his junior year. He had his father's pistol and was shooting at stray cats around the trailer, with his legs crossed like a dumbass, which was fitting, because he was/is a dumbass. He was on crutches for WEEKS because he shot right through BOTH of his legs near the ankle on both! No shit! Yes, I grew up in a town filled with rednecks. One of those 'don't blink you'll miss it' type towns with one stoplight in the foothills of the Appalachians. Funny as hell. Thought of that moron immediately when I read your post.     Thanks for thinking of me Bo! Poor bastard. That guy wasn't dedicated to tequila. That's what happens when you forget to act up after drinking the nectar of the Gods. He was probably not drinking Herradura, Patron, Cabo Wabo, or another high end brand. If he had simply started jumping off of a roof, onto a trampoline, and into the back of a pickup he would have been just fine. Or had someone kindly driven their car or a golf cart towing him behind on a creeper, that too probably would have helped the poor soul out.
