It's also a matter of the time period it is spent over. If you were to work out how much people will have paid in jump tickets from the jump numbers on here it is scary! But many of them have been in the sport for many years. I afford my tunnel time by setting aside money for jumping/tunnel every month and spend it on the tunnel in the winter and on jumping in the summer! tash Don't ever save anything for a special occasion. I have one so that I can check my diary while on the go and it's the only gadget the company will let me have to do that. It's easy enough to use, although on the one I have it's easy to click the 'back' button accidentally - a pain if you do while loading a webpage. Not sure whether they've designed that out on the newer ones. Also bear in mind that to enable them to use it as a phone and do all the other stuff at the same time, they'll need the hands-free kits too. tash Don't ever save anything for a special occasion. yep - at the time they could only be opened while the tunnel was shut off, so the only time for cool air to come in was while the people swap over and that is often not long enough. what if it was your grandparents who did the immigration and you are the one that doesn't like the conditions. You wouldn't know what the conditions 'back home' are like as you have never been there, it's too expensive to go there from your housing project appartment with 2 rooms and 8 people living in it on the outskirts of a French city. Think about where 'home' would be when you suggest immigrants go back home. I was 2 when my parents left the country of my birth. I had no choice but to grow up in a foreign country and couldn't have 'gone back home' if I wanted to until I was at least 18 and then needed to get the money together to travel across a continent to 'get back home'. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of the rioters feel as displaced as I have for a lot of my life because they don't know where 'home' is. tash Don't ever save anything for a special occasion. wait until vt1977 or gremlin see this thread - they have a nice story of a broken neck in a wind tunnel. I would have thought one of the reasons why there are fewer injuries is because of the tunnelrats. No matter how experienced you are, there is always an instructor standing at the door to come and get you if somethings isn't going too well.
