  1. Sounds like trickle down economics. Thats all well and good unless you are the one waiting for the trickle. A professional pilot should ALWAYS be paid.
  2. All this tells me is that Richard Clarke took about 18 months to develop a conscience and stop being a political yes man. Have you taken your soma today?
  3. Here's a link to a pic of an early gun camera setup . About 1968. Notice the dry cells. http://home.earthlink.net/imagelib/sitebuilder/misc/show_image.html?linkedwidth=actual&linkpath=http://home.earthlink.net/~tspoond328/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/bobmcd1050edited.jpg&target=tlx_new&title=Bob%20McDonnell%20D-10%20at%20Akron%20NY
  4. You guys are missing the point. Everyone did what they had to do during the VietNam era. I don't begrudge anyone the choices they made. It's a CLASS issue. George W jumped to the head of the line to secure a coveted Air Gaurd slot at the expense of many without connections. Many that were forced into the meat grinder that VietNam was. CCR said it best " I ain't no Senators son"
  5. Gore bitched his way to the Florida Supreme Court -- OVERWHELMINGLY DEMOCRAT -- and they of course found (biased) in his favor. The problem is, their finding was absolutely not legal. They essentially gave open-ended time to do the recount when the STATE ELECTION LAW LIMITED THE TIME AND THAT TIME WAS PASSED. There was absolutely no basis at law for the amount of time the Florida supremes gave Gore's recount. Quote I didn't know Florida had a Supreme Court and a Democratic one at that. See what happens when you skip civics class to smoke pot. The rest of the post speaks for itself.
  6. Um, if I remember correctly, she was elect to the House of Representatives, wasn't she? Doesn't look like the voters minded her actions all that much after all. Yea, scary isn't it. But how many people in this country were aware of the illegal purge of voters. The story was squashed.
  7. Some more about the voter purge before the election. Sorry about the dual posts. The last post window would not accept theURL for some reason. http://www.gregpalast.com./detail.cfm?artid=217&row=2 Its interesting that this voter purge story was front page news in England but pretty much squashed in the US. The NY Times only recently acknowledged it. Over three years later. http://www.gregpalast.com/detail.cfm?artid=314&row=0 . Check out who is on the B.O.D at the NY times. It explains a lot. http://www.nytco.com/company-directors.html
  8. There were over 50,000 voters who never got as far the ballot box to try and figure anything out because they were illegaly denied their right to vote. By guess who; Katherie Harris the head of the Bush campaign in Fl. http://www.ericblumrich.com/gta.html [url] http://www.gregpalast.com/detail.cfm? artid=314&row=0 [url] No conflict of interest there.
  9. And who is the king who calls the shots, then? Who really runs the USA? This is who runs the USA. http://www.house.gov/Constitution/Constitution.html
  10. Yes , I know what you mean. They planted a radio transmiter in my tooth while I was sleeping. I've been hearing voices too. Do you?
  11. I'm not sure .Did you get taken out? If so it wasn't me. Tom
  12. If you've gotten this far. You'll want to go to this thread. http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=911753;sb=post_latest_reply;so=ASC;forum_view=forum_view_collapsed;;page=unread#unread
  13. Don't blame me . I voted for Al Gore. In Florida. I'm sure the Framers are rolling over in their graves.
  14. If I remember right so don't quote me on anything. The US Army Sport Parachute team now known as the Golden Knights was formed around 1959 By Sgt Dick Fortenberry. The idea was to recruit civilian sport parachutists into the army and give them every thing they needed to train and compete at the World Parachuting Championships to be held in August 1960 at Sophia, Bulgaria.
  15. A good soldier - one who only obeys orders, without second thoughts, without question, do or die.

  19. Dear Rogue108, Did you read this part of the original post? "Seeing as the packing, design, pocket slider, stochastic variable thing has been beaten to death,If you insist on an argument. Please save it for the other thread" You do not follow instructions well. May I suggest you read more and post less.
  20. That's my point Ron, Skydiving aircraft have an atrocious accident rate. Tom
  21. Does anyone know of any links where I can find Late Jake Schwan's skydiving poetry? The Irish Parachute Club used to have it on their web page but it's been removed. All that I can find is this one link at Michigan Suits . http://www.michigansuits.com/younger.html
  22. In case any of you missed this thread. http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=911753;sb=post_latest_reply;so=ASC;forum_view=forum_view_collapsed;guest=4495462
