The AA 767 threw an entire compressor disk. It also severed one or more fuel tanks. If memory serves they said the airplane would be a total loss. Airplane had rejected a T/O cause it couldn't make power. The mechanics were maintenance running it when it let go. (no pax on the plane) The aircraft did not have a rejected T/O The AA mechanics were running it up testing engines, as after it arrived from JFK captain wrote that one engine wasn't reaching full takeoff power. good thing the mechanics were running this up instead of Captain ready to take off.. funny thing is the engine was only some 600 hours out of overhaul from Tulsa.

I had Firefox Version 1 liked it I installed Firefox Vrsion 2.0 it froze up every time I uninstalled it bt can't get firefox Version 1.0 now... sucks.. so I'm using IE 7 for now..

I have a Firebolt too real nice canopy. I agree it opens nice and smooth.. packs easy too... Mike

I'm deaf.. I use a timer (set time) and at desired time it sets off a flashing strobe light. It will wake me on the first flash! I set it away from near the bed.. that way I gotta get up and turn off! once I'm up and on my feet I won't go back bed for a "snooze".... works great and it never wakes anyone else up..

1945 Cessna crashed into ESB --------------------------------------- If I recall correctly in 1945 it was a B-25 bomber or B-17 that hit the ESB I think it was B-25..

That's Cory.. but he was apparently alone. Had his licence less than a year. t FAA record show he was issued SEL Single Engine Land private pilot rating on February 9th 2006 given spring training / baseball season.. I doubt he got to get lot of hours built up... makes wonder too if It was sucide? heard he was losing pitchter in yankees last game.....
