Mike is a well known rigger but he cant help every jumper in the US with your rig. I think that good riggers are familiar with the rigs that that are on their DZ. unfortunately for you you really dont have any over here. I think that people end up buying a rig that is not only popular with the other jumpers at their DZ, but what their riggers recommend. Im not saying you have a bad rig. Just saying that it will be a pain and a long wait for people if there are major fit issues or a manufacturing defect that made it past your quality control. Dont tell me that will never happen. It happens to all manufactures, that is why riggers inspect brand new rigs when they first put them together for people. Take the Atom for instance. The only ones you see in the US are the ones the European jumpers bring over. They are a really good rig, but your not going to find to many US jumpers buying them. They are not familiar with them and don't know enough to trust or not trust them. You may make the best rig in the world, but I dont think you will do very well in the US, unless you open a shop here and get them out to DZ's so jumpers can demo them and see that they are as great as you say they are. Good luck though. After 3 years of selling gear at SQ1...if a person was buying a US made rig from Overseas. They had already seen and demo'd that type of rig on a trip to the US. The majority of them also came here to pick them up. A lot more europeans come here then US jumpers going there. Can we demo your rig? DO you have them available at gear stores for people to jump them and make a decision based on there own experience with the fit, comfort and most of safety of the rig? Might help your cause if you could make that happen.. Dom

I started jumping my Sony CX150 at 120 jumps with just that approach. I made it the least important part of my skydive, and that's exactly what it is. So much so that even 30 odd jumps with it later, a last minute change to an RW dive flow in the plane can make me utterly forget about turning it on before I go out the door. Quote There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it. It removes fear of the consequences and builds false confidence That is a qoute from Tom Brown and Wendy's sig line. Think about it. Dom

I think they should have got him for Manslaughter instead. I just dont think he would have been stupid enough to pull his gun and shoot the guy in the back in front of God and 100 witnesses. I think he really meant to go for his Taser... All that being said. He is a dumb ass. If you see the video there was no reason to even pull out the taser. That is why I think it should be Manslaughter instead of Involuntary Manslaughter. I just dont think he intended to shoot and kill the guy. Sad all around Dom -
Call some of the bigger gear stores and see what they would do with it. Square 1 would be happy to help you price your gear. Dom

One thing to consider is that the manufacture is out of the US. Your profile says you are in the US. I would be worries about rigger here being familiar with it. If you need repairs or when you need a repack. I would want to use a rig that my rigger knows everything about. You may also end up spending a lot more for shipping and things like that when buying and what if you have to send it back if they build it wrong. Lot of hassle Dom

Bill is not an elitist. LOL. Bill is one of the kindest and nicest people you will ever meet. He is very logical as well. Bill would give a person the rig of his back for months if they needed it. If Bill or anyone else runs of a newbie for trying to keep them safe and alive, then i say run them off. The lessons learned in this sport are learned in blood and broken bones. People that think they know better then the very experienced jumpers that has seen it and done it are the problem. Go hang out at a big DZ for a year. Then come back and say that Bill is an elitist. You will wonder why a tool S&TA at a small 182 dz is giving people bad advice. FTR, I like small 182 DZ's they remind me of the place that I learned at. Great friends and a lot of fun. We thought we had all the answer though. We thought that our S&TA was a very safe guy. Yeah, well he is dead and so are about 6 or 7 others from that DZ. Great people living in a very small skydiving bubble though. You can only teach what you know. Truth is that most small dz's do not have very experienced staff. Oh they may be good at dropping static line students, but most of them are more full of themselves then these Elitists you speak of on here. Dom

If you land in the water at Zhills...you got issues. Unless your talking about the swoop pond. Then you just have bad accuracy. Watch out for the red water out near Wallmart. Is it blood in the water? Dom -

Paul asked the right question. I think you may have jumped at the Jim Wallace school. As for picking a DZ between them. They both rock, just in a different way. Pick the one that give you the best vibe. Everyone pretty much jumps at both anyway. They are so close and everyone know each other. People still call Perris or Elsinore their home DZ, but again. It's all the same people though really. Dom -
You use a loofa in your ass crack? That ain't washing son, that's getting a little gay. Dom

i thought it was funny. They are really showing that they have umbrellas with lights under them and the round thing they stand on is heated, and maybe cooled. All because the Dear Leader thought of it and no other country has this great technology. That poor country is so shut off from the world. The people actually believe that they are in one of the most progressive countries in the world. Dom

Google the 2000 (i think) California elections. It is (maybe it changed) illegal to ask for identification at the polls. Guess what, they vote all the time. Dom -
I have actually never seen a Zune out in the wild. I have seen them in stores, but never seen anyone using one. MSFT is just not that cool. Dom
