Hell the last year and a half I was in the Army I almost forgot that I was in the service. I don't think I ever was a friday formation. I was always at the DZ. Then I got on the Ft. Lewis Demo team and that was it for my unit. They never saw me and where always leaving notes on my door to go see the 1st SGT. I would go see him and get lectured for an hour about not checking in with the unit. I loved that time in my life! Nothing but jumping from airplanes and helicopters. Dom

You have been through a lot recently. Just let the anger out in some constructive way. I have been through the same type of thing you are going through right now. It's unfair what happened to you and his family. It's always unfair when something like this happens. The person who is gone feels nothing anymore, and their loved ones are left to shoulder all the pain and hurt. You seem like a strong person (I hear you where a SGT. in the Army), I was to. I know you have the inner strength to pull through this and be stonger on the otherside when it is all said and done. STAY STRONG! WE got a message about them last week or the week before. They are test jumping the first batch and "should be out soon". Although that has been the word for months. If what they say is true you still won't have them for WFFC. We had hoped to have them already. Let's not hold our breath or we may turn BLUE. Dom

Resale value should be taken in to account when buying new gear. Especially if it is your first rig. You more than likely won't keep it forever. I agree that the resale right now on the Infinity is not as good as let's say, an Odyssey. But the way they have been selling this year they should have a very good resale in the next year or two. We have been selling them all over the U.S. this year and overseas as well. With the Odyssey wait time so long people don't want to wait. They all want it now. Why pay 300-400 dollars more for a rig that is not gonna be ready for 5 or 6 months? just so you can be a part of the crowd? With the quality and wait time of the Infinty it is slowly becoming our most sought after rig. People talk about customer service, Kelly and the crew at Velocity are great. Never complain, and they give you options for free that others charge you big bucks for. I remeber in 96 I came to Perris to stay and I was the only one on the whole DZ with an Infinty. Now they are all over the place. People know a good product when they see one. I will not talk bad about any manufacture out there (at least in a public forum) most rigs on the market are great these days, but for overall quality and service Velocity is my choice. I just can't see how they will be able to get funding for it. This town isn't big enough for two wind tunnels. The Elsinore tunnel was proposed before the Perris tunnel if my sources are right, but Perris was faster on the draw and got it done. The city of Perris jumped on the approval real quick so that it would make it real hard for Elsinore to get one. Bank sees one up and running very close to where Elsinore wants to put on up at and they don't see the money coming back. I wouldn't hold my breath for it. Dom

That kid is cool. My friend Jeff and I used to reenact Empire Strikes Back. One of us had a tape recording of the movie that they released. It had a lot of the dialog and sound effects on it and we would act it out with our toy light Sabres in front of his house all day long. "Luke I am your father" that was my favorite line. After a few weeks of wondering by the entire staff and some of the locals at Perris we have found out that JP (Diablopilot) is in fact not gay. Although we are still open to any information that may prove otherwise. Any incriminating photos will be properly credited to the photographer and a JP is Gay website will be built for the coming out (of the closet) ceremony. Dom
