In the "Dropzones" listings I think it would be really nice to have a map for each state showing where all the dropzones are. Currently, the only way I know to find where a dz is, is to go through Mapquest and type in each city for the dz. What I'm thinking is this: when you click on a state a map of said state comes up. The map has a little dot depicting where each dz in that state is located. It would be a great help! "Let the misinterpretation and attacks begin."

Well, after being in Florida now for about 2 months, I finally got to start flying today!! I got about 40 minutes in the Cessna 172 at Destin Airport. We just went over how to pre-flight and then we went up and did a few turns, climbs, descents, and then landing. I got to do the takeoff on my own and I handled a fair part of the landing with some help. Next flight is scheduled for Thursday with the possibility of flying sometime before then. The funny thing is, throughout the entire flight the thought of jumping out of the plane never crossed my mind. Watch out, in about 20 more years I just may be your diver driver! I tried it for a while. I don't watch enough movies for it to be worth it. You would have to go through about 3-5/month minimum for it to work out to be a deal. If you do go through that many movies then by all means, have at it. It's a great service. "Let the misinterpretation and attacks begin."

I've got a CamEye II with a Sony DCR TRV-19. Last weekend a tragedy occurred. The tip of the connector that goes into the LANC port on the camera broke off inside the camera. I contacted the CamEye manufacturer and they can repair the CamEye for me. The problem lies with the camera. I don't know how to get that little itty-bitty tip out of the port. Anybody ever have something like this happen before? Any suggestions?? Thanks for the help! "Let the misinterpretation and attacks begin."

Afraid not. It has to do with an old skit from an American show called Saturday Night Live. There was a claymation series with a character called Mr. Bill and various things of bad luck would happen to him. Give it a Google and I'm sure you'll find some info on it. I have to respectfully disagree here. From what I can tell, it sounds like he is saying "DON'T chop it" at first, and then later changes his mind and says "CHOP IT". The one thing you need to remember in a situation like this is to only communicate POSITIVELY and avoid NEGATIVE communication. An example of negative communication is saying something like "DONT chop it", or "DONT pull the silver handle" or anything with a "DONT" in there. The other person may not hear the "DONT" part and go ahead and do what you just told them not to. Instead of "DONT chop it", try "Stay with it" or "Keep that canopy". That way, the other person is more likely to hear what you intended for them to hear. I'm pretty sure this is something they taught me in AFF 1. "Let the misinterpretation and attacks begin."

I currently jump an Inifinity that is a little too large for me. Luckily for you, I have a new Mirage on order. The Infinity I have would probably be perfect for someone about your size. I did it once with my Sabre 190. I was Sluggo(meaning I deployed first) and my buddy was Mr. Bill. I weigh about 190 w/gear and he was prolly about 160ish with gear and we had no problem. Just dont try to land it! "Let the misinterpretation and attacks begin."

Alright, major props to my buddy Jeff up in NY for helping me out with this. I got it figured out. The pix of the Mirage are my new rig, and the ones of the Infinity are my current container, which will soon be up for sale. I'm keeping my main, reserve, hook knife and Cypress.
