After Barbara Duke’s memorial dive at Perris today, Skip did a couple of low passes with his DC-3, 6MA. I was standing on the patio of the Bomb Shelter drinking a cold one with Al Frisby and thought to myself, I sure miss jumping out of DC-3’s and old D-18’s. If I am not mistaken, the fact that it is case law shows that the decision was upheld on appeal Hulsey lost on all 4 points that he claimed in his suit. In pursuing his appeal, plaintiff makes four substantive contentions. The slider bumper keeps the lines placed properly at the ends and in their proper orientation. If the link somehow turned sideways and the line loaded it from the side, it may not hold or possibly damaging/cutting the line on the barrel. MEL As Jerry mentioned slider bumpers are not supplied by the manufacture of either the canopy or the H/C. To my knowledge none of the major manufactures cover them under AS8015B 5.1.
