For those not listening: Not doing this will hurt. Not doing this is the cause, IMO, of almost all slammers. My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals

If you think you already have the answer why are you asking the question? A couple of people with far more knowledge about gear then you have said it is not a smart thing to do. What answer are you looking for? Edit to add: Jumping a reserve loaded at 1.6:1 is foolish; at your experience level it is stupid. My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals

Bill, Thank you. That makes an old man feel warm and fuzzy. But I should have known better than to screw with Vlad, he is a real skydiver that takes it to the max. Dawn to Dusk You keep on keep'n on Vlad.

Just about every reserve made today.

Scissors? Damn I didn't consider that, you are pretty clever. Allways a thinker. Maybe I can chop the end off with a sharp rock. I don't want to lop the excess strap off my new 300 dollar altimeter. I don't think I would be able to hem? the newly cut section well enough to keep it from fraying at the cut. I think, there I go thinking again, that you might be over complicating this wrist strap thing a bit. Have you thought about taking it to a tailor? My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals

Damn, thats really old. Most of them can't count that high. -
I don't think it is premature to say that you haven’t thought this “plan” of yours through very well. You asked for some advise on a waiver and then when you get it you whine that they are picking on you. Get over it. Either do the damn thing right or don’t waste your time putting anything together. Skydiving and protecting yourself from a lawsuit is all about the details. This forum has spell check and if that detail slipped by you attention to details does not appear to be your strong suit. Whoo, slow down big boy. I am glad you find me amusing. I wouldn't dream of "throw'n down" on a bull ride'n, scuba dive'n rock climb'n macho man like you. I just sit here quietly and watch as you master one more "cool" sport.

... and then you'll give him those NASA and AIAA documents including both wind-tunnel and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) studies on the deployment and inflation sequences of both round and ram-air canopies? Don't laugh, I've seen such things. No, I would say he has gotten just about all the information out of me he is likely to get. I think is goes like this, “Missed a real good chance to keep his mouth shut”. But hell what do I know, I am not the one asking the questions.

Recent Para Commander Jumps?

Its not just at pull time and deployment. When you are under the reserve with the lower attachment point you tend be in a laid back position. The higher the attachment the more upright you will be. If possible push the risers back behind your shoulders so the lines come up behind you. Makes for much better flying and landing. My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals -
Is aerodyne really a lower tier manufacturer...
mjosparky replied to DougH's topic in Gear and Rigging
I have heard it used in reference to dealers. But that was back in the days when every other jumper was a dealer of something and worked out of their trunk. It was in relationship to the dollar amount of sales made in a given period of time. My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals -
And your point is what Bill Bob?

You didn't sound stupid, I just happened to hang my reply on your post. -
You're pretty sassy. Nice remark. Information for information!

Do you have a commercial relationship with Jumpshack? I ask because you've got their homepage as your own in your profile and you've spruiked their products a couple of times in many of your posts. Call me an asshole, but I like to know if those providing advice have vested interests
