OK, then I can only assume that John Kerry didn't know where the intelligence came from. Right? If that's the case, then like you claim of Bush, John Kerry made a MAJOR mistake there! Kerry knew EXACTLY what he was doing. Kerry voted against giving the President the ability to use force in the first Gulf War because he knew that a vote to authorize the use of force meant war, no bones about it. Are you telling me that he didn't realize that an authorization to use force this time didn't mean war this time around? Based on your arguments, Kerry doesn't seem to bright, does he? - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.

If this turns out to be as written, these people ought to be drawn and quartered. Reading your article, Bill, I don't see the part where Nevada is in danger of going to the Democrats. Are we to assume that whereever we find this sort of reprehensible behavious that it's because the state is in danger of going to the other guy? - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. Of course it was after the broadcast, it wouldn't have been necessary had CBS sided with the original document examiners and accepted the documents for what they were, forgeries. TunaPlanet yakking to a pack of bickering, arguing, computer nerds hanging around a website based on skydiving is a bit different than Dan Rather trying to pass off forged documents as authentic to the North American population. Don't you think? - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.
-
Correct, CBS didn't forge any documents; however, you're out a limb suggesting that it was simply "poor research". As has already been documented, CBS ignored three experts whose opinion was that the documents were forged, experts who told CBS that they'd be in a heap of trouble if they aired them as authentic. You're right, they didn't forge the actual documents, but to simply call it "poor research" is an afront to anyone with even a little bit of common sense. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. Wow. There's some serious stupidity in that law, in my opinion (Running an old Reagan film counts as "time" if it's during his election season?). However, it looks like you're right. Quade, would you feel better if, as Lummy suggested, they aired F/911 alongside Stolen Honor? Would it still violate the "public trust"? - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.
-
Are you sure about that? Because I don't think that it does. The law, as I understand it, states that if a network gives time to one political party that is must be willing to give the same time to the other political party. The law does not require that networks balance their programing, especially when there isn't a political party involved. I don't think it's the RNC paying to air this film. Am I wrong? - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.

Well, that was from the 10th. Not today. I'll post the results from the 11th (today), tomorrow. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.

Why not? Does the airing of this program knock out air traffic control, cause medical equipment to malfunction, or somehow interrupt emergency services? Why? - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.

What? Men can't understand the science and medicine behind a developing fetus and birth? Sounds reasonable, especially if you're willing to stick to fashion, makeup, how you'll cook my dinner and clean my house. Deal? - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.
