  1. Actually, I've read the data. I simply happen to disagree with your point of view. Don't assume that everyone who disagrees with you hasn't read the document, your post, whatever . . . - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.
  2. The only data John Kerry has used in his decision making process is poll data. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.
  3. At what point have I labeled myself a conservative, or labeled you a liberal? Anyhow, with regards to government, more or less, 20 years in Congress with nothing to show for it. I am not impressed. Oh, that's mature. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.

  5. You must have missed the beginning of Tuna's post: "These are the 5 bills Kerry authored that passed the Senate, the House, were signed by the president, and became law.. Here's the URL from
  6. It has nothing to do with research that I may or may not have done. Rhino came here fairly upset about what he saw in the report, don't you think that asking him what particular points upset him? - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.
  7. GO GET THE BOOK.... You're here making all the noise, what specifically bothered you about the 9/11 report? I think that's a reasonable question and one that you should expect not only from me, but from others, also. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.

  10. By necessity, the dot-com bubble employed plenty who don't have the skills to cut it in today's market. I've been interviewing Unix administrators for almost a year and haven't found anyone with the skill set or the attitude necessary to be successful in my position. Our development teams have been interviewing Java and ETL developers constantly for 2 years and only RARELY find anyone capable of doing the job. Finally, the same can be said of the Oracle teams. As a matter of fact, our CTO was talking the other day and suggested that the best (and perhaps only) place to find anyone with any real talent right now is at product user groups, and then, only those who currently have a job. It's a tough market out there; if anyone wants jobs then they need the skills and attitude necessary to survive. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.

  17. How could we? You've never failed to remind us. Agreed. My comment wasn't directed at the schools so much as it was at those who implement, support, and tolerate such ridiculous policies. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.

  24. Motivation is my guess, though I can't be sure. The Kerry biased polls inflate the Bush numbers to motivate the Kerry supporters. The Bush biased polls deflate the Bush numbers to motivate the Bush supporters. Again, just a guess. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.
