Okay, if you all can stomach it, I just stumbled upon the original Fandango movie trailer. http://hotflick.net/videos/Sam_Robards/# (third down on the left column) I'd rather just go watch the movie now.... ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Tell you what...Get the DVD, play it on your computer, stop at the frame you'd like and do a little thing called 'screen capture'.

Take a look HERE. You might find something fun.

Maybe they'll be held to text messaging. Or think on the bright side. You'll be able to internet-link and post here while in flight! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

A well known (skydiving) friend of mine just had his painted. (sorry about the cell phone pic, taken late at night).

My (older) neighbor has a '65 Mustang she's willing to part with. Original green (with dents and a bit of rust). Tan interior (with deterioration to match). You game?

Thanks for posting this! I've always wanted to see the demo reel. Awesome work by BJ and the gang.

I also remember the blue book of formations, but couldn't find it. However, Square One has the 21-64 one in stock it seems. I bet if you called them they'd find the blue one too.

Quiet and actually a bit boring...compared to the weekend, that is... ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

The FAA grounded a skydive O2 system today
ltdiver replied to Zing's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I agree completely. I guess I should have quantified my post by defining the 'high altitude' WWR jump I was involved in was done from 16,500 AGL (18,000' MSL at Perris). ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon -

I work in the field of physical therapy, and frequently educate and monitor those pulmonary patients who come our way. We use pulse oximeters with these patients. I know, from experience with these oxygen-users that if they pull the cannula down from their nose, or hold it in front of their mouths it does not work in the capacity it is intended for. They need to create a reservoir for oxygen. Without it, it does not keep their oxygen level above what it would be just on room air only. For a simple explanation, see this web page: http://www.ccmtutorials.com/rs/oxygen/page13.htm My preferred way of obtaining supplimental oxygen when on 'high altitude' jumps is via nasal cannula, due to its comfort and convenience of application. I put my helmet on, over the cannula and breath in through the nose, quietly and comfortably. When it comes time for exit, I am able to pull the tube from inside my helmet, and jump, no problem. This explanation is from the individual's side of things. As to the aircraft design, et al, I'd listen to itllclear. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon -
Cessna Caravan crashed in the Cascades-Skydivers on board
ltdiver replied to Amazon's topic in The Bonfire
Thank you for taking the time to post this. Although I've jumped many times in Snohomish, I haven't been there in the past few years and never had the chance to meet these beautiful people. Now, taking the time to read their myspace pages, and their posts here on dz.com, in amongst the tears, I feel like they've become new friends. Fly free, young skydivers, and swoop our boogies with your angel wings and laughing smiles, okay? ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon -
Hey, ol' Terry Weatherford finally made it off the bench, 'eh Bill?

Is this some kind of new yummy baked good you're cooking up for us? Sorry. Okay, I'll go back into my little monovision hole now... ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon -

New Plane Developed just for skydiving?
ltdiver replied to Kynan1's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Just to be perfectly clear . . . no. There is a VARIANT of the airplane that comes from the factory with skydiving mods (a door, floater bars and a camera step), but in no way shape or form was this aircraft EVER designed for the sole purpose of skydiving. It's also an air ambulance, a cargo carrier, personal aircraft . . . ect. Target marketing. What are we going to do. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon -
Thanks! Plan to. That is if us non-world-competitors will be able to squeeze in between those team's back-to-back loads! As to another poster's question of why it's white. The answer may be two fold. 1) Not exactly sure if this picture they sent along in the e-mail is the same plane we're getting. I'll have to ask this weekend. 2) Perris always keeps one of their planes white for movie purposes. For example, one Otter is plain white. The SkyVan too.

Very easy dz.com search netted this in about 5 seconds. http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=185831;search_string=200%20500%20D;#185831 You're Welcome! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

The picture I got (just today) was of the particular 'brownies' we had as a guessing game at a co-worker's baby shower this afternoon. The host melted different chocolate candy bars in newborn baby diapers, then numbered the outside. We had to open them up and guess what candy bar it must have been. Cute, in a way, but kinda gross at the same time.... ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

So, the cats out of the bag. Official announcement just arrived in the InBox.

I always believed that vaccinations were to prevent viral infections, and that antibiotics were used against bacterial ones. A must read here: http://www.cdc.gov/ncidod/DBMD/diseaseinfo/meningococcal_g.htm We learn every day... Sorry to hear about your loss. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
