Had a chance to play with one at a high end camera shop this past week. Not my digital camera, but theirs (without a flash card). The image looked AWESOME through the viewfinder. That's all I can add.

We'll be there! Look for a 4-way team with a tall, thin, blonde haired cameraflyer running around. We'll be training that weekend. Stop by for a beer after green light, too!

You're probably right. However, in the 'dry climates' Spring Fever is the time when everything turns from brown to green (for a few weeks). It's my favorite time of year! Things just come ALIVE!

Maybe if they read THIS from a known source. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

To true. Thanks for the reminder. Your boys are lucky to have a wonderful Dad like you. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

You might want to look into the 20mm. Lighter weight and less expense being the primary factor that separates it from the wider view lenses. On my Sony TRV22 (with Sony .6 lens) I bump in my zoom a little and it matches up with the 20mm on my 300D just fine. I'm mainly an RW flyer, so freefliers might respond differently. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Well, I've started in earnest this past weekend! Spring Fever has hit hard here in Southern CA! Car detailed, house cleaned, yardwork started. The garage was the victim tonight! Just got in an hour ago and devoured a delicious dinner. House painting (outside) and re-roofing is next! What's on -your- list this Spring? Has it hit you yet?

Have the new 40GB iPod which goes with me everywhere. It's even used for my calendar, address book, and picture files I want to carry with me. I even use it to load music onto skydiving videos at the DZ. It's always worked as advertised. No issues to date. (haven't taken it up to altitude yet, though. ;^) ) ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Exactly. I don't take my suit off all day long when we're team training, so cordura knees are a must for packing. I ordered a Bev Suit 2 years ago, without the cordura knees and all it took was one pack job and the knees already had wear marks on them. My advice....unless you want to disrobe -every- time you pack, get the cordura. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Oh great! It's only one of my favorite pizzas! And the store is only about 2 miles (if that) away! I'll have to try it some night and see how fast they are. Damn....maybe I'll put on some weight. Sitting here, ordering food, drinkin' a beer. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon -
14:14:0 :^) Let's just say that last training weekend I was 90% and 50%. This weekend I was 100%! Yeah! :^) ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Well, I'm glad that the historians got this part right. You speak of unemployment vs job growth affecting you this year. Well, Hillary, through her health care reform debacle, put ALOT of medical practitioners out of business and people in need of care at risk. For instance....I was unemployed for 18 months before landing another job in my industry. Chew on that for a real-life example. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

If you are referring to Monday night, I think that those were Perris regulars, not instructors (...possibly a Skyventure peep, though.)

I'm already here. IT WILL BE! I was thinking about showing up. But if JP's gonna be there... I best stay home. You HAVE to come, skybytch! Looks like Raoul and Stuey are warming the pool up for ya! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

You're welcome! For other states, here is the index page. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon -
For me, I start to sit up as the canopy is opening. I don't let it jerk me up, but transition with it. By the same token, I don't sit up before it's time. If it is any kind of hard opening, the canopy will beat me to it anyway. It's jerk will be before my transition can finish. Does this clarify? ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Has your friend been to a qualified orthopedic physical therapist? There are specific stabilization exercises that can help deal with the radicular pain down the legs. If the rupture is more than a few mm, then surgery is indeed a possibility. Again, there are many different procedures a doctor can use. The LEAST invasive is the best call....Followed up closely by a qualified P.T. Do you have his MRI results? ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Thanks, Mar, for the mention. It's LTdiver here. I know that in my lowercase user name it does look like an "I". Oh well. I'm an IT anyway (sometimes) . Yep. Lost my left eye in a horse related accident back in 1988. Driving has never been a problem 'cause you actually think you're closer than you really are...so you seem to be overly cautious when driving. Funny thing, however, is that my parallel parking improved after losing the eye. ;^) On to skydiving. Well, the two things that seem to be of most concern is having to turn my head to the left alot more than others have to (to get the whole picture in frame) and depth perception. (remember, things look closer than they really are, so unless I'm compensating for that, grips are a few inches away when I -think- I'm there). If selwyn wants some more pointers, have them drop me a PM. Always willing to help out a fellow skydiver. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Oh "Master of the Universe" (from your profile ), Do you work in the medical field? Just curious, ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon -
Interesting. Hmmmmm..... I had a laps of reason and let my niece's boyfriend drive my car last Sunday (after he did a bitchen job detailing it for me...thought I'd be nice). He enjoyed a 3 minute joy ride in it and brought it back just fine. However, when I turned the engine over again, the "Service Engine Soon" light came on! Grrrr.... I took it to the dealer the next morning (it ran just fine) and they did a diagnostic on it. Their report didn't surprise me...but the detail of it did! Seems that the young man had revved up the engine to a very high RPM while the engine was cold and caused a mis-fire. The computer recorded it. So, is the little 'black box' they're talking about? ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
