If it had anything to do with luck in gathering his resources, he at least took action to hold on to them. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

What brand? No brand listed....just Russian made. It looks like it should be a fish-eye, but isn't. I'll have it this weekend at Perris if you want a look-see. A friend from the Russian 8-way team told me about it and brought one back for me last time they were out. He did his research (not all Russian 20mm's are the same) and it's a beauty. He got one for himself too. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Got a Russian 20mm lens for my 300D. It's shorter and lighter than the Canon 20mm and has been producing awesome work. Yeah, it's manual as well. Spent about $130 on it. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Uh. This is on an adobe web site. He used Premier. iMove wasn't mentioned....although Macintosh was. So, where's the link that proves Phil McNeely is a skydiver? Yeah....you're reaching. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Yeah, I saw the Thomas cutaway handle on his rig and wanted to snatch it away! (never had a personal logo on a rig of mine). Pending, you guys rocked! After I saw your training tape I knew we were in for a treat...and you didn't disappoint. That 12 on round 6...and the 13's were awesome!

First off, it's iMovie (not IMovie). Like some peeps here think my name is Itdiver when it's really ltdiver (LTDIVER). Creator of iMovie. Probably Steve Jobs. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

You forgot about Nate Archibald!! Several years ago there was a player by the name of Nate Archibald at the University of Texas at El Paso. When he finished college, most of the professional teams ignored Nate because he was too short. In fact, his nickname was "Tiny." The Cincinnati Royals decided to take a chance on Nate and signed him to play on their team. Well, Nate made it big in the NBA because he was lightning fast, had good hands, and he was a great shooter. He played in the NBA for fourteen seasons and became known as the player who proved that a "little man" could play in the NBA. Just listen to some of the honors he won: He was named to the All-NBA team five times He was named to the NBA All-Star team six times He was elected to the NBA Hall of Fame on May 13, 1991 LTDIVER Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Welcome! Use a card reader (I use Sandisk). Downloads much faster than the USB cable that comes with the camera. As for download software....if you use a PC....sorry can't help you there. I use iPhoto in my Mac. I know someone who uses iView and likes it a bit better than iPhoto. Photoshop 7 for editing. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Some interesting facts on SS1. ·SS-1 is registered as a glider, but can reach Mach 3.5 · It took 14 manned test flights before yesterday's - piloted by Mike Melvill, 62, right - including one in December when the craft spun off the airstrip on landing · Cost per space flight is $80,000 (£43,000). But the owners, Scaled Composites, cannot charge for flights because the company is not licensed under US aviation rules. A licence could cost up to $100m-300m. · SS-1 has three seats. The owners calculate six to eight seats and more windows could make it commercially viable. · The SS-1 rocket is fired with laughing gas and rubber. Nitrous oxide (or laughing gas) is used as an oxidiser and hydroxy-terminated polybutadiene (HTPB or rubber) as fuel. · There are no ejection seats. Source So, how long would freefall from 62.5 miles be? (take into consideration no atmospheric pressure to slow you down way up there). Geeks....you can begin now. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Where I bank they've waive all service fees for my accounts. Any -one- of these guarantees the gesture. 1) Direct deposit of my paycheck (which I really like doing anyway) 2) Overdraft protection with their credit card (I never have needed to use it, so that's o.k. too) 3) Home mortgage loan through them....(might be a tiny bit more interest, but it cost me absolutely no fees or points to open it....and just refinanced it too for a lower interest rate with the same free deal). So, if you play...they'll pay, not you. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

How's your timing when video a 4 way team on exit?
ltdiver replied to BETO74's topic in Photography and Video
This can work for 8-way, so don't lose this skill. It's just not the best form for 4-way. How are you using your wings? Wings allow for you to create your own space as you leave -with- your team. Don't be afraid to hit them a few times (warn them that this may happen as you learn your timing skill). In fact, a good 4-way cameraflyer has hit their team at least twice in the beginning while they're learning. It allows you to push -your- envelope and experience where your limit is. Try this on an easy exit like the Meeker. Leave -with- your team, spring back, and inflate your wings. Now this is for the Meeker. There are different techniques for every exit. Don't try this with...say..."M"...Bundy....or you'll get SMACKED by the tail flyer! Or the "0"...Satellite...you'll fall beneath them as they float above you. Learn with the 'round' exits first (if your team will accommodate you, that is). Are you -really- on top? Steep? Have another cameraflyer take a look at your footage and check it out. If so, then perhaps your head position is indeed off. I keep my head level. I know where my ring site has to be to get the shot. If your team is not in the middle of the frame....CHANGE your head position. Learn. Your ring site may not exactly match the center of the screen picture you're looking for. Believe it or not, my centered ring site (on the ground) does not match a centered site in the air. Don't know why, but I've adjusted. I use the same set-up for tandem as well, and adjust again....pictures come out just fine. Learning....it's all fun. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon -

Interesting. Both my Quicksilver and PB G4 (both are G4's actually) came with stock 256 RAM. I upgraded my desktop to 1.24 GB RAM (two 512's). My PB, although not at it's max RAM right now, can be maxed out at 1.25 GB (a 1.0 GB+256MB)....but who want's to shell out $700 for one memory chip (the 1 GB)? ltdiver btw, where'd you hear that I love my PB? For Spanish Press 1, For English please stay on the line
ltdiver replied to funks's topic in Speakers Corner
Firstly, we are a private, self-supporting, non-government, not-for-profit rehab hospital. Nationally known by those in the business. Secondly, no other facility (I call them pseudo-rehab) facility in the area has this policy. Only acute hospitals do. So, among other things we offer, this gives us a leg up on the competition. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon -

ltdiver replied to funks's topic in Speakers Corner
Interesting that this topic is here today. We were just discussing this at work today as well! I work in a rehabilitation hospital where we get numerous language challenges. Our policy is to provide (at our expense) an interpreter for each and every language we encounter, if they can't speak English. We have, on staff, a number of employees who speak various other languages....Spanish, Tagalog, Russian, Portagese, German, Thai, etc. However, if we don't have a staff member available, we hire one from an agency. This policy has brought us business. That's a fact. It shows a caring spirit in our health care system, and our patients get that extra added bonus of knowing their entire needs are taken care of and they are understood. Makes our job easier. However, I still believe that if a person travels to another country to live, they should have an operational handle on that country's language. It doesn't have to be perfect, but it should allow them to interact without barriers. I've had friends from numerous other countries come here to the U.S. They attended the (free) adult education classes on their own and learned (if they didn't know English already). I was impressed. They were proud of their accomplishment. They were ALOT more likely to land a job, too. They knew that, and adjusted. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon -

How's your timing when video a 4 way team on exit?
ltdiver replied to BETO74's topic in Photography and Video
Rdutch, First off, let me say I love your current web page! Second...if a 'team videographer' doesn't know the position and characteristics of each position on a 4-way team, this might be his/her first assignment for the week. If they're serious in learning and becoming more than mediocre, that is. It helps if this cameraflyer has been -in- the 4-way as a competitor as well. They might actually know better how each piece flies and this can make their learning curve a bit more easy to absorb. You're absolutely correct in the position that every cameraflyer has a different perspective on how to exit and fly. If they have a personal cameraflyer mentor this can help as well. One that they can sit down and chat with and also allow to critique their videos. A couple of us had the extreme fortune of flying a weekend with two of the best 4-way cameraflyers on the planet....Stevie Nowak and Marc Steinbaugh...Airspeed's cameraflyers. We had to travel for this mentorship, but it was well worth it in the long run. Exit timing....study Airspeed's and the Golden Knight's videos. Watch their cameraflyer's techniques on both exits and flying over the team. They are both different from each other, but will give a newbie cameraflyer alot of information. Oh, I know there are other skilled cameraflyers, but why not learn from two of the best? (they also have videos available, so their work is yours for the asking). One more 4-way cameraflyer's insight to this page.... ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon -

I have a 12" G4 PB, 1GHz with 768 MB of RAM. 80 GB HD. I do all my video editing on it and absolutely love it. ltdiver Oh...and btw, I also have a Power Mac 867 with 1 GB of RAM, and (2) 60GB HD's as well. Personally, I see no difference in the speed or capability. I choose the PB right now because of what you mention....portability. I can take, create, and burn CD's and DVD's right there at the DZ. Love it! :^) Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
