How close should the site be to your eye???

Dana was out at Perris a couple of months ago. Our own YahooLuv got to jump with him most of the day (doing video). Dana's sporting a new prosthesis for his AKA (Above Knee Amputation). It's called the "C leg". It's a computer leg that has controlled movement at it's knee joint. It's incredible (and expensive). Dana doesn't jump with it but wears it when on the ground. I'm sure that other members of "Pieces of Eight" are envious. :^) ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Dana Bowman demo into the Eastlake Ballpark....for those who are interested in attending. I've had a chance to meet Dana (on a medical forum here in CA) and see this man in action on his prosthetic legs (both of them). His story is incredible. Not a smart thing for me to do. I had to get used to listening to movies in one ear. I never wear the headset on the ear that faces the aisle. I need to be able to hear all the screaming when the hijacking starts. A Sony Hi8 was my first skydiving camera. Works ok for a starter camera (but lacks the exact quality that a pure digital camera has). Just make sure you tape the HECK out of all the openings. Around the tape's door, etc. Helps control the tape flutter as least a little bit. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Oh really? Now back to skydiving....... I also hate the Blue Otter. Found the only way I can transition out -that- door is to back out, reach for the step....then the handle. Holding onto the back edge of the door (instead of the bar) will also help you reach farther back. Practice on the ground and see what works best for you....then go up and give it a try!
