    For those with a Digital Rebel (not your camera, but the 300D) you have to know that if you shoot the camera upside down you -can't- turn the pictures 180 degrees so you can view them right side up....unless you download to computer and do it manually. The camera does not have this function onboard. Not sure about the 10D. Wouldn't it suck for a student, all pumped up to show his CD to his family on the TV via the DVD player and everyone have to stand on their heads to see the picture from the proper perspective. Try it. Take a picture with the digital camera then try to rotate it 180 degrees. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

    Tandem gets the money they paid for that service back. If the stills work, some places give the roll to the customer free of charge, some places charge just a nominal fee for them. Depends on that business' policy. On one of my first student dives the cameraflyer -thought- they had the video camera on (didn't have a CamEye or anything like that, but thought he saw the red record light reflecting in the pilot's sunglasses ). I got my video money back, plus the free roll of shot film. Pretty disappointing, but it -will- happen at least once in a cameraflyer's carrier. Either by not hitting the record button before climb-out or the camera crapping out on the way down.     Been doing some browsing once a friend of mine informed me that his new car would be a hybrid car. He mentioned some of the perks of owning such a car, so I decided to research. The current cars that are on the production line. 1) Honda Civic (billvon owns) 2) Honda Insight (rjackson owns) 3) Toyota Prius (anyone?) 4) Ford Escape SUV 5) Lexus 330 (still in development) Perks of owning such a vehicle: 1) Obvious higher gas mileage (especially highway and rush hour traffic) 2) The Clean Fuel Tax Deduction .pdf file 3) Possible New Law being passed to allow solo driving in car pool lanes! (hello Los Angeles!) 4) Just tonight on the news...possible law to allow a Permit Parking Waiver (no charge). What else have you heard? And for those who have a hybrid car...what has been your experience out there?
