If this happens you'll stay in the rig (unless you fold up like a rag doll)....however you won't be able to reach the slider or toggles. If leg straps slide down it is a sign that the hardware is worn out and must be replaced. Huh. Never thought of that. Makes sense, though. I have the 40GB 3rd generation one and love it. Use it in my car on long trips (or when I want to pump myself up for a day of rockin' skydiving), at work with the iTrip (my co-workers are dazzled), at the DZ for when I want to relax or dubb to videos really easily), or a walk with my dog, Shimmano. I use it occasionally as a HD for pictures, yet not being a 4th generation iPod I can't view the pictures that I have onboard without a computer. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Understand about being T-boned! They had just put a new stop sign at the intersection next to our Perris DZ. A truck who was now supposed to stop and let me go through didn't even hit his brakes and t-boned my baby and me. Even though it was a side impact, the hit was so hard that it deployed -both- my car's airbags. Axel broken, frame bent, rim distroyed, etc etc etc. Now I have ulnar nerve damage in my left arm and a neck that won't stop cracking. (my head hit the left side window pretty hard). You know my avatar? It's me finally getting around to taking pictures with my Mustang GT (had planned to, just had never gotten around to it until -after- that accident). I just got a phone call from a dear friend who skydives at Snohomish, WA. One of our friends there took his life this week. He did not do it skydiving. The grass at Perris is not considered the 'designated landing area'. It is, however, opted for by most people who want to keep their gear cleaner and have a shorter walk back. In any safety briefing at Perris, they emphasize their policy that the entire triangle, including the north field, is the designated landing area. From personal experience, and from others on this board, do NOT send your Sony to any other place but a Sony repair station. There are others who are listed as Sony certified, but we've had horrible luck with them. Send your camera directly to Sony. I might have voted for the 'stang commercial for 2nd place if they hadn't played it 3 times. Instead its the "cat ameriquest" commercial in 2nd place behind the skydiving commercial for me.
