  1. For an FAI record, all the participants must still be alive 24 hours after the completion of the record. Not sure what Guinness uses as their criteria. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

  4. *Bump*. Could this be made a sticky? Thanks for the information. Wow. I've used eBay alot but hadn't thought of this scam technique which could be used against those of us who sell there. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  5. I've heard this with other 3-chip cameras as well. Craig O'Brien at Perris did an experiment with them and wasn't happy at all with the vibration. He went back to his 1-chip camera. This was a couple of years ago. Don't know if he's found anything work-able yet. I'll have to ask him next weekend (if it's not frikin raining!). ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  6. Thanks for the laugh, Sparky. btw, 5,000' just might be all we get (altitude-wise) with all these frikin clouds we have here these days! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  7. From the article: 1st chuteless jump was in Canada, expressly to avoid the FAA. He was banned from the CSPA. 2nd chuteless jump was in the USA. He was banned from the USPA. The Americans who were with him on that 2nd chuteless jump were kept in an anonymous position in the video, to keep them out of the FAA's record books. I believe Bill knew what he was doing. No question there. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  8. Aha! changing the extension worked. I have been a long time user of MPlayer, and VLC, but neither worked until I changed it to .wmv. Changing to .wmv worked for me too. Funny Russian Guys! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  9. Jumping 'rigless' out of an airplane (not once, but twice) goes against the FAA down here. Not only the skydiver would have his license revoked, but the pilot as well. I wasn't there, nor am privy to all the information...however he got his hand slapped on the first one (suspension) and then did it again (he knew better, but said 'fuck you!' the second time). Just reading what was wrote in your posted article. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  10. Not a very flattering documentary. Suspended from the CSPA once. Then banned for life the second time. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  11. I"ve had no problem with either my USB1 reader or my iLink reader with my 12" PB. I have it read directly into iPhoto. If I didn't, it would read directly into a 'picture' folder on my HD (default setting with the reader). ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  12. The Mayo Clinic Increased scrotal temperature can reduce sperm production as well. Bicycling sabotages the system. True. Sitting on a hard, narrow bicycle saddle for more than 30 minutes at a time — especially if you also wear tight-fitting bicycle shorts — may raise your scrotal temperature and affect sperm production. In addition, the associated bouncing and jarring may cause genital numbness and damage delicate nerves and arteries. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  13. Got the E3 and the N3 mixed up. Click on the clicky I put up in my last post. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  14. Guess I learned something today. Thanks.
  15. We were sitting around trying to come up with a fancy name for a storm....... Hurricane, Typhoon...... We decided to go simple and just say Storm. Well about 10 minutes after the team numbers are drawn. Andy Delk comes up and tell us about Elsinore Storm. We offered to change it right away. After the 1st few rounds we had his blessing. Then after round 4 I think they wanted it back. Try the word 'Storm' in a thesaurus.
  16. Yeah! Take your crappy weather back up north with you! Stop sharing! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

  18. I've had two different skydivers ask me to film them in freefall, then they took the footage and created their application for Survivor. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

  21. Custom would be very nice. I've chatted with Chris from Bonehead, but ya know he's pretty frikin' busy with his current work. Who'd you have in mind for the custom work? ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
