    When obtaining my Class III medical I had to get a written declaration from the doctor stating that what I was using the clearance for was -not- flying a plane but skydiving. Class III medical is needed to go in the altitude chamber....which is required to do HALO jumps.     If you've drilled holes in it, good luck. You'll have to sell it used. But, yes....DO make that change. You're going to lose your helmet on opening someday if you don't. What fits snug up at altitude will lose it's 'snugness' down at opening altitude.     Thanks, that was the thread i was thinking of but it doesn't actually say much about why they were trying to fly relative to it, what their intentions were etc. Hopefully someone with a bit more info will post up. I told the guys I was posting about it on dz.com's Bonfire if they wanted to get onboard and share about it. Guess they haven't gotten around to it yet.
