  1. How about a wedding without the shotgun? Or a home prior to the wedding? Stay safe
  2. Because we want quality properly trained riggers working on our products. We have found that it is a win win situation. Since we build complete systems including container, main canopy, reserve canopy and tandem systems it gives a wide range of exposure and proper factory training to the rigger. We offer this for both existing and student riggers. In addition we offer free onsite tandem cross-certification on our tandem rigs.
  3. We offer rigger training for free and can work around your schd. Give me a call and I will tell you what we offer. Stay safe, Mike Jump Shack
  4. Friday night.....It was being served in manifest and yes it was very good
  5. And this is why the information in your post above does not apply to the new racers. I guess anyone can pick on any manufactures old products! The 2K3 is very freefly friendly. The riser covers are tuck tabs (no Velcro) as is the main closing flap. I would like to see what your objective opinion is after you see what Jump Shack makes now. You also might read the November Skydiving Mag. There is a full-page review on the new Firebolt and some comments about the racer. Stay Safe, Mike

  7. As an S&TA I have found that in the last year drop zones are communicating better with each other about skydivers that are in a high risk category for one reason or another. They are taking a proactive vs. reactive approach to safety and as a result, skydiving is safer. In every instance that I have received information it has been in the interest of safety and concern of the skydiver and others that may be affected. And upon further investigation I have found the information to be accurate. As a result of the above several drop zones are taking a closer look and checking what gear skydivers are jumping. Just this last weekend I had someone checked that I was told about and as a result they were required to use a larger canopy and along with some help from an instructor, they are doing better. Remember that skydiving is a privilege not a right.

  20. No a jumper does not have that right, that is why we have BSR’s, FAA and DZ rules. A rigger has the right not to repack a reserve or pack the rig if you don't allow the test. And a DZ has the right to not allow you to jump there if you don't have the test done because it doesn’t matter how much risk the individual is willing to take as it may affect others as the result of a failure.
