    Let's be simple and ask this question? In the 30+ years that Jump Shack has been in business and over 30 thousand rigs that have been made, how many times has the above scenario happened? Answer zero So for a safer faster reserve system the benefits clearly outweigh a scenario that has not happened in over 30 years. And as previously stated, when you seal a rig you are certifying that at the time you sealed the rig it met all requirements. And if you properly recorded the pull force you would have the documentation to back that up. No rigger can guarantee the integrity of a rig once it leaves their control.

    A 10 day event that is going to cost $10 more. That's a $1 a day. When you are spending at least $500 and up to go there is $10 really going make the difference? But then it doesn't really matter to me since I get paid to go.

    That would be a neat trick since Jump Shack hasn't made a Firebolt 134 and are 128 and 146 are the most popular canopies.     A canopy can most certainly be scaled. The entire Firebolt series of canopies from 75 through the tandem 396 and the Eiff Classic Accuracy canopies were designed as a scaled canopy. Every size made so far has worked equally well straight out of production. At present we can take any size custom canopy you want and have scaled CADD templates in production in an hour.

    Actually it is very easy, if the rig has tuck tab riser covers and no Velcro it is a 2K3. And the flaps are now numbered. Ray, as we discussed the other day when you sugested this, I told you that I would make this change and did. Was making this change within 24 hours not a fast enough?

    I don't have a definition as it is not mine but YOU posted the link to the site with the description, YOU again posted information about it above, RMSMITH posted a picture for you. No one but YOU said it was for intentional high-speed deployment. It was in part designed for a non-intentional high-speed deployment.

    As you have already stated any rig is not tamper resistant and can be circumvented. Unless someone can had me a tool or strap that I left in there they would be hard pressed to say I have a zero defense since I record pull force on every rig I pack and I use a digital calibrated certified scale. When I sign and seal a rig I am stating that at that time while that rig is still in my control everything is correct. Or can you quote me a case where the FAA or a civil claim resulted from anyone tightening a rig after it left the rigger or there has been a failure from the same?

    According to whom? Since we changed to a different type cable there hasn't been a single return in over two years. True, but you can still get it. I mean look at all the waivers you sign to skydive, every DZ yo go to, factory tandem instructor, pasenger etc. It isn't like it cost more. This I can help you with if you PM me a contact number. I can tell you how to help prevent this. Also if you are at Eloy for the Xmas boogie we will be giving a factory rigging classes on the Racer. We are doing everything we can to provide quality service including free rigging courses for new and existing riggers at our factory and we go to any DZ in the lower 48 for free to provide tandem instructor/rigger training when you purchase our tandem rigs. Things are changing fast, all I would ask is that you keep an open mind. Mike
