  1. You will be flying into Denver Intercontinental (DEN). I'll take you up to Boulder to Christy Sports, they have fairly cheap rental, although Mary may know of a better place.

    Corona

I love wheat beers, like Sunshine Wheat and Blue Moon. Add an orange (to the sunshine wheat) or a lemon (to the Blue Moon) and it really brings out the different flavors. Pretty much the only reason I like drinking corona is cause I can drink a 6 pack and not get drunk, so it's the beer of choice for the long partying nights. Fly it like you stole it!
  3. Thought I better start a new thread since we are WAY off topic in the insurance thread. So who is going to need to rent gear and what kind? Fly it like you stole it!
  4. Well if you are nice to me when you come to town I'll drive you to a local store which is much cheaper than at the resort. Fly it like you stole it!
  5. you wanna come and play with us too? Fly it like you stole it!

  7. Mary if you like Salmon I'll have to have you over for Derek's Salmon. It's one of the few things he can cook, but he does it right. Fly it like you stole it!
  8. we just had the same issue with the USPS, we didn't order anything, but something from someone must have been shipped to us. We got a little note in the mailbox saying we had a package in the leasing office. The leasing office which has a sign in/sign out policy said they never received the package and this was the 6th complaint about USPS packages not making it into the office. The worst part is we don't have a clue who sent it or what it was. Fly it like you stole it!
  9. With really small children, I actually hold Fox's head while they pet her. I make it look like I'm petting her but I'm really feeling for any muscle tension or throat vibration that could be a sign of her getting uncomfortable. Like I said before she is not agressive and I have no reason to think she would be, but I want to make sure the child and the dog have a good experience. Fly it like you stole it!
  10. Hopefully I can throw snowballs on Mary's parade very soon. Fly it like you stole it!
  11. Honestly, I think all children should be taught to stay away from all unfamilier dogs doesn't matter if they are big or small. If the owner is around they should always ask the owner if they can pet the dog. A good owner will know their dogs limits and if the child can greet the dog or not. Of course parents also need to not cause dog fear in their children, they just need to teach them what to do and not to do when they come across a dog. There are 2 kids in my building who are so scared of dogs that when they see Fox they start screaming which of course confuses her and ends up making her scared. Luckly her responce is to hide behind me, the big baby. Fly it like you stole it!
  12. Renters insurance doesn't insure the apt, or room, it insures your stuff. When I moved from TX to CO and changed my car insurance to CO my renters insurance went with it. It was no big deal and I didn't have to pay much for transfer fees, actually I only think I had to pay transfer fees on the car not the renters. Just talk to an agent, they can explain how it works if you have to move and such. From your replies it's hard for me to tell where you are staying when you move, but I have a feeling as long as it's not a box you should be able to get coverage. Fly it like you stole it!
  13. I prefer Pinot Niors and Pinot Grigio, they have less sulfides than some of the other wines so I can drink more than one glass without getting a severe headache. Fly it like you stole it!
  14. Correction, I was the 1st one to do it in the thread. http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=1405579#1405579 Fly it like you stole it!
  15. I did when I got the insurance and it is covered including if it is stolen out of my car. (Car insurance is with the same company) I'd never leave my gear at the DZ even over night, as soon as I'm done jumping it gets locked up in my car. Also, when I had to take it somewhere other than my living room to get a repack never took it to the DZ rigging loft I always took it to someone where they would do it while I waited. Only one that is questionable is loosing a main due to a cutaway, but I try my best to keep an eye on it while I land with my freebag. So far the main has always been picked up before me. To be honest I'm more worried about fire or someone breaking into my car or my house than someone at the DZ stealing my rig, mostly due to the fact that the harness is so small there is only a handful of women who can actually fit in it. 18. Usually what happens with little dogs is thier owners don't train them, because well if a pug jumps up on your leg when you enter the house "who cares it's not like it will knock you over", while if a german shepard does it you will end up on your ass. My best friend just got a new little pug puppy and the 1st thing I told her is when the puppy does something cute like tug on your bathrobe, look at it and decide if you will think it's cute when it's 3 years old or would it be cute if it was a german shepard. It worked, now everytime abby does something "cute" she remembers what I said and then gets pissed cause she doesn't want it to do that behavior anymore and has to correct it.
  19. I for one would definately not leave my blue heeler mix alone with unfamilliar children. I don't have children and none of my friends have children so she isn't as child sociallized as I'd like. So when children come up wanting to pet her I make her sit and stay, have them let her sniff thier hand then let them pet her. I actually am not worried at all that she would be agressive, but it's my job as an owner to make sure that she doesn't do anything inappropriate. I hope having the child wait till she sits and having them let her sniff them 1st before petting her, teaches the child how to appropriately approach a dog and greet it. Heck someone here even admitted to taunting a dog, while a better trained/tempermented dog may not have bit, but when cornered all bets are off. Fly it like you stole it!
  20. Yeah I tried to give a beggar a box of dog treats that I had just bought from petsmart cause his sign said something like "please help my dog and me, we are both hungry." He turned down the treats. btw....they were still in the box with the plastic seal wrap stuff untouched. He might not have been able to eat, but the dog would have been in high heaven. 21. Damn that Mary for being on the top of peak 9 and not inviting me. Fly it like you stole it!
  22. I flew a crossfire 2 108 at 1.2 and had absolutely no problems with openings or pressurizing. Now preformance of course was quite tame, but I was looking for good flare with soft landings which it gave me rather than hot fast swoops.
  23. Ah the little things in life that make it bearable. Diet Coke with lime in the vending machine. Being able to adjust the shoulder guide for the seatbelt in your car. Dog attacking the cat when it tries to claw the furniture. My life is good Fly it like you stole it!
  24. I remember Mouth getting hooknswoop drunk at the 1st holiday boogie on that stuff. (only time I've seen him drunk) Fly it like you stole it!
