Here in Colorado a number of cities and counties have banned smoking and more do so every year, when the issue goes up on the ballot it passes every time. Actually right now going through legislature is a state wide ban on smoking in restaurants, and from the track record of every other smoking ban law that has passed I see this one passing also. Which of course will open it up for a state wide ban on smoking in bars; which if you live in Boulder, and several other Front Range communities you can’t do anyway. (not to mention all the establishments that have voluntarily banned smoking) Where I’m going with this is people still flock to Boulder to hang out, eat, and drink. Having spent quite a bit of time in Austin when I lived in TX and now living 30 minutes from Boulder I’d say the culture in the two communities is very similar. Both are College towns with rich roots in dining and entertainment where people from all over the state come to visit and enjoy the atmosphere. You can’t go into a restaurant or bar in Boulder that isn’t packed on weekends and many week night. Around here people do go “Well hey I can’t smoke in Boulder bars so I don’t want to go there”, nope they go there anyway and smoke outside (although I heard Boulder was trying to ban that also). So while there will be some growing pains with this changes and people figure out how they are going to deal with the ban. FYI Smoking is banned statewide in New York, California, Connecticut, Utah, Vermont, Delaware, Florida, and Maine in some shape or form. Fly it like you stole it!

HAHA...I know all about the map coordinates being off. There was an adventure race last year where half the teams were unable to find one of the checkpoints due to a difference on the map vs. the GPS (which is how they set the checkpoint). Fly it like you stole it!

We do it every once in a while. There is one down the bike path from my house and on at one of the ski resorts. Beyond that we will check if there is one in the area of where we are going hiking or road tripping and try to find it. So far no cool toys, but it's still fun to play with the GPS. If you want to make it really hard, do it the old school way and get a USGS map, plot the coordinates, get your walking beads and hope for the best. Fly it like you stole it!

So FYI on the whole water thing....it's highly over rated. Mem will jump in the shower with me and if I don't let him in the bathroom with me he will claw the carpet. I now have torn up carpet at the bathroom doorway. So I've put duct tape over the area he will claw for those times when I forget to leave the door open a crack. Let's see, he will meow at the fridge for ice cubes and if you try to get yourself a glass of water out of the kitchen sink expect the cat to be in the sink trying to get his own water. So like I said...love of water highly over rated. BTW, he is a pure bred persian, who love water, likes dogs (unless they are SUPER hyper), is addicted to catnip, kneeds like a banshee, but won't let you pick him up. Fly it like you stole it!

I'm 5'1 and have 2 cutaways with the one handed technique. So I have pretty short arms, but both times I knew exactly when the main left and I could start pull the reserve handle. Although I'm not 100% sure when the cables cleared the housing cause after pulling both handles I went into an arch with my hands above my head. Fly it like you stole it!

I like these shows and NCSI, even though I know most of it is bunk. Being and EE and working in the computer industry I know what can and can't be done, but it's entertainment and I look at it like watching star trek.....someday we could be there with the tool and stuff. Fly it like you stole it!

To go along with your air purifier you should look into high quality filters for your heating/cooling system. It will work even better if you get your ducts cleaned out, but even if you don't after a few months your ducts will be cleaner. Due to the fact that they filter more out of the air you have to be religious about replacing them though. Fly it like you stole it!

I agree, water helps curb my appetite, plus with living in CO at a high altitude that is very dry you loose water with just breathing and don’t even know it. I was always getting dehydrated before I supplemented my water intake from other drinks and food with the 2 nalgenes a day. I agree that that to much to fast especially after working out is bad, but that is why most people in endurance sports drink some kind of sports drink with their water. For example one of the top ranked 4 person co-ed adventure racing teams fills their camelback with Gatorade and the bottles on their bike with water. I actually do the opposite though since I’m not pushing as hard, camelback with water, bottles with emergen-C. Fly it like you stole it!

Spray tans do work, I did it one year for a wedding. Don't go the tanning bed route, those things are so bad for your skin and 2 weeks is definately not enough time if you are very white. Fly it like you stole it!

At least 64 oz at work (2 nalgene bottles full) and then whatever I drink while working out or in the evening. Plus hot tea during the day to get my caffeine fix. Fly it like you stole it!
