Awww....poor Sherpa looks so tired in that picture. Of course we all know him and his daddy could have went jogging after our hike without batting an eye. That reminds me I need to order some more of that wine, those bottles are the perfect size for taking hiking. Fly it like you stole it!

Why is a female life more "valuable" than a male?
skycat replied to quade's topic in Speakers Corner
I completely agree. Want it equal, make it equal. No special treatment atl all, PT scores, height/weight/anything. Don't forget to include females in the draft if it ever comes up again. I'd like to see a national poll on how women would feel about making things very equal. My hunch is that most women would balk at the possibility of being included in the draft, one PT standard, and height/weight standard PT scores, etc. Derek Baby haven't you learned anything by now, that just cause you have brute strength doesn't mean my technique can't still kick your ass. Oh that is so wonderful. My Mom has MS and has had it since she was 22 (now 57), she is currently in a nursing home and not doing very well. It is such a terrible disease that affects everyone differently, and is such a rollercoaster for the person who has it and their families. Fly it like you stole it!

Is the bike ride something you can do any weekend? If the answer is no, go for the ride, the sky is there ever weekend, well unless it's raining or to windy, but technically it's still there, you just can't play in it. Fly it like you stole it!

I needed my harness almost completely resized. I sent it back and 2 weeks to the day I sent it, it arrived on the doorstep fitting perfectly. No charge to me since my body just didn't fit what the computer thought my measurements equalled in body type. Fly it like you stole it!

I love bringing Fox to Boulder for just that reason. She can go into pretty much any store I'm there to shop it. She so loves car rides and outings that end in meeting other dogs and treats. Sherpa on the other hand still need to learn control before he gets to go on outings. Fly it like you stole it!

If you are trying to get around a helmet law depending on the state you could still get a ticket if it's not DOT or SNELL approved. On another note when I had an FZR 600 (feels like forever ago) I hated riding without a helmet. Your hair gets all tangled, getting smacked in the face with a bug and watery eyes. Same thing that happened with Dalmations nationwide several months after 101 Dalmations was in the theater.......End up in over crowded shelters nationwide where the odds are they will be put to sleep because no one will want a little rat dog. Fly it like you stole it!

Any psychologists/counselors/psych majors here?
skycat replied to windcatcher's topic in The Bonfire
I minored in psych because while I really loved the classes I knew I wasn't going to get my doctorate and since math was my second love opted to major in EE. What I have discovered especially now that I'm in a management roll rather than an engineer roll is that my using what I learned in psych more than what I learned in my EE classes. Every meeting I'm in I have to read the other participants and judge how to push the needs of my department whether it’s stepping on toes or making them think my request was their idea. I also find myself being the level headed one when the testosterone in the room reaches critical mass bring everyone back down to earth and letting the boys walk away with only slightly bruised egos rather than the bloody ones they would have left the room with. So whatever major you decide keep a foot in the psych door cause it will help in any career you are in. Fly it like you stole it! -
