See the motorcycle?? A dead dumb ass was riding it
skycat replied to BillyVance's topic in Speakers Corner
I drive a Mazda 6 sport wagon, and I can't count how many times the same thing has happened, it's the #1 reason I'm scared to get another bike. Fly it like you stole it! -
Let's just say I love visiting Derek's Mom in Napa. (She is awsome....btw) Good wine, good food, beautiful country, we have already decided if we can't live in CO, we will only live in northern CA. Fly it like you stole it!

ok, so this wasn't a skydive it was a hike to the top of a 14'er (which is actually higher ASL than some people jump from) but it's very surreal being in a cloud that is full of snow. Fly it like you stole it!

Carmel Apple Martini......MMMMMMMmmmmmmmm I'm on number 3 and feeling no pain. I was at a restaurant getting take out and like normal I ordered a drink while I waited for my food. Well the bartender suggested the CA martini and it was sooooooo good and soooooo strong I hit the liquor store on the way home to make some for myself. Oh the yumminess. A stocked wine cellar and a stocked liquor cabinet, what more could a girl want. Oh yeah did I mention 3 cases of wine arrived Friday from Napa...my life is good. Fly it like you stole it!

Holy crap what a blast from the past, I totally remember that site. I wish I knew exactly when I joined DZ.com, I think it was in either late '99 or early '00, I know I had been a member/lurker awhile before I started posting. Things definately have changed. Fly it like you stole it!

What do you think should happen to aging parents?
skycat replied to windcatcher's topic in The Bonfire
Both of my parents have passed away so it's kind of a mute point, but if they were still here my answer for each one of them is different. My Mom had MS and was deteriorating quickly 4 years ago she was put into a nursing home because there was no way I could have provided the 24 care she needed. My Dad passed away almost 6 years ago before that had a nurse that stayed with her during the day and he took care of her at night after he was gone she was in an assisted living community because she was able to be much more social than sitting at home at my house all day. Before my Dad passed away he and I had already planned that after she passed away he would come live with me he would still work, but more on a part time basis and get to spend more time relaxing after all that he did for everyone else, unfortunately he never got that chance to relax. My part of the subdivision doesn't have an HOA while all the ones to the south of us do. It's the oldest section and I guess was built before they were the fad. I'm lucky everyone has cute front porches and well cared for front yards, it's a quiet young family neighbor hood. Now my neighbor behind me would be a prime target of an HOA, their house hasn't been painted in 20 years and the roof is missing a ton of shingles. I can tell they have done no maintenance to the outside by the fact that the fence between our yards was falling over and the propped it back up with a shovel. Luckily my dogs weren't interested in visiting because the shovel wouldn't have kept them out. The new construction in Denver is out of hand in both the amount and the prices for the homes. Right now 1 in 300 homes in Denver is foreclosure while the national average is 1 in 1200. I believe it considering of all the house I looked at (20+) only 2 were owned by a person rather than a bank. I heard on the radio that several of the new home builders are currently offering $50K worth of incentives to buy their over priced new homes. Fly it like you stole it!

Have your dog help you pack, this works best if the dog already knows the take and bring commands. Sherpa pulling a box across the living room was the funniest thing ever. (smaller sized box with a rope around it) Fly it like you stole it!

I'm actually curious about that movie having been a gymnast for over 12 years (I have the knees to prove it ). I'll netflix it when it comes to video. Fly it like you stole it!

Just so you know the dress in the 1st picture and the dress in the 2nd picture aren't the same dress. Look in the mirror behind her and you will see the back detail is different. Fly it like you stole it!

My X was red/green color blind and was not allowed to dress himself in anything other than jeans and t-shirts, because he really thought mustard yellow and lime green matched. Fly it like you stole it!

The price is right up there with Starbuck's Frappuccinos....who, btw, is one of the drinks this new Blak is in the market to compete against. ltdiver Oh didn't realize that was the market, well in that case they have failed, a) I had no idea they were trying to compete with the expresso drinks, and b)I much prefer the Frappuccinos over it. Plus, after drinking two of them now (bought a 4 pack) they really don't have a caffeine kick, I get more from my diet coke. Fly it like you stole it!

worthers toffees.....that's it!!! It kind of tastes like flat coke with coffee flavor. It's not bad, I think I'm still on the fence with it, but the price is a bit high for what you get. Fly it like you stole it!

Turn in my two week notice and walk out the door, even though I don't have another job lined up. Fly it like you stole it!

Apparently it's been proven that if you put a picture of a fly on the inside of the urinal the amount of piss on the floor is greatly reduced since men like having something to aim at. http://www.urinal.net/ocean_princess/ Fly it like you stole it!

This is definately one of those don't feed the troll kind of moments. Fly it like you stole it!

My new house has them already installed and I love the fact that the dogs can run full speed across (and of course hit the wall to stop) without scratching them up. Since there is no furniture in the house yet, jumping on things isn't an issue, but I was planning on area rugs anyway for the living room and dining room. Fly it like you stole it!

Here is a great read on puppies that your friend needs to read. I'm Your Puppy Crate training will save your sanity, never use it as punishment, and to make crate training easier make it the best place in the world by feeding all meals in it and periodically toss treats in it for her to find. Also never leave her unsupervised, if you can't be watching her 100% of the time (tying her leash to your belt can really help with this) put her in her crate. I also have a breed that is prone to being dominant and headstrong (my dog is both in spades) and while they are a lot of work the pride and satisfaction you get from them being well trained and well behaved is incredible. Also I'm against these petsmart puppy classes, if you go to a trainer find a good one, I've seen many dogs turn dog agressive after petsmart training because dogs bullying other dogs is allowed and what happens is the puppy learns if it's agressive to other dogs that dog will go away which quickly turns to I'll just be agressive so the other dog doesn't even try to bully me. So just do your reasearch when it comes to trainers, with my boy I've learned there are many out there who don't know how to handle dominant high drive dogs. (I was told by one trainer he should be put down) Fly it like you stole it!

To start off with I took a break from skydiving... Debt at the time: Car Loan Student Loans 3 credit cards Store credit cards I then consolidated as much non-secured debt as I could on to two of my credit cards that had the lowest interest rates(it couldn't all fit on to one). Closed the store cards and 1 credit card. Figured out how much in total I could put every month to paying off debt, then went after the credit card with the highest interest rate. As things were paid off the the funds available were added to the existing payment on the next card. Here is an example saying I have $1000 a month to put toward debt. Month one Car - $400 Student - $100 Credit Card 1 - $100 Credit Card 2 - $400 Month 10 and Credit card 2 is payed off Car - $400 Student - $100 Credit Card 1 - $500 I built a spreadsheet to track progress and to watch to see if something like the student loan was close to being payed off and one big payment could get rid of it. Now I only have one credit card and a check card, and I almost never use the credit card. What I have learned though from my mortgage guy is that I shouldn't have closed those other credit card accounts because apparently unused available credit is a good thing on your credit report. It took be two years to be non-secured debt free, and I'm sure there could've have been a faster way, but that is what worked for me. Fly it like you stole it!

Well March is normally the snowiest month of the year here in CO and we seem to be right on track, nice days in the 60s-70s and then a few days of snow. Fly it like you stole it!
