I know of 1 rigger that has packed 2 fatals and 1 50/50 mal that were found by the rig manufacturer when sent in for a repair, unfortunately due to some plea bargining he still has his ticket. Fly it like you stole it!

hehe...there is one DZ that always has 0 winds, it's not the highest one in the state but I swear landing into the wind there is faster than landing downwind at other DZs. The other 3 give Dallas a run for their money. I'm serious though, the higher elevation really doesn't make higher winds that bad as long as they are smooth which they were last weekend. It's the weekends they are 7 gusting to 25 I sit on the ground. Fly it like you stole it!

Actually I had plenty of drive and no issue at all, for some reason up here 25 felt like landing at 18 at sea level. Plus it is often very windy here, so it's all about the culture. Locals here shut down at 30. Heck the other DZ on the airport was still dropping students. Not that I thought that was safe. Fly it like you stole it!

Per the skydive AZ site. Looks like tenting it is free and 1st come 1st served, but the RVs will need to make reservations. So cyndi save us a spot. Camping & RV Hookups Tent camping is free. There is a RV park a short distance from the drop zone that has 24 full hookups and 14 electric only hookups. There are 8 full hookups next to the drop zone for $15 per day plus tax, $12 per day plus tax for electrical only; these 8 slots are for short term (less than 30 days) only. Reservations are highly recommended; these slots are usually full during the busy season. Fly it like you stole it!
