We were going to go, then saw the no hook turns thing, and doubted that they would beleive that canopies really can fly as fast as the 60 so decided to go to Eloy instead. Just kidding, we opted to go to Eloy for X-mas rather than NV. Fly it like you stole it!

Actually you would need to get longer risers if at full arm extension you can't finish off your flare. Fly it like you stole it!

hey quade, this might have been answered already, but coming from a small chick with short arms longer risers make a huge difference. You see with shorter arms you can't reach down as far to flare, so by getting longer risers you move the canopy farther away from you giving you 2-3 extra inches, and beleive me this does make a difference on a no wind day when you need every bit of flare out of the canopy. Currently my brake lines are as short as they can go without affecting the canopy in full flight, if I had 18 inch risers I wouldn't be able to finish the flare, how do I know this, because after moving to CO I had to have my brake lines shortened to the point that they are now. I used to jump 18's and had a hell of a time finishing my flare, once I got the 21s it was a non issue. Fly it like you stole it!

That isn't quite true or you wouldn't see people with every kind of rig out there having bungee across their butt. If you have hip rings, the odds are your leg straps will move because that is what hip rings are for, to make your leg straps move with your body naturally. My rig fits perfectly but, as a very flexible person my leg straps will slip down my legs while doing RW, that little bit of bungee is a god sent, and way better than the pull up cord I used to tie my leg straps together on my last rig. Actually I have no problem with MHSD, but Derek doesn't get alot of work out there so I usually go down to Canon City with Derek. Although even there I don't really jump. Since I moved to CO I've done more jumps out of state than here. *shrug* Fly it like you stole it!

A year and a half and going strong. We rarely get to jump together cause he is doing student jumps, but we do set aside boogies to jump with eachother. Plus I get free rigging. Fly it like you stole it!

btw....to get a perspective on elevation, if you jumped at: Couch Freaks you jumped at 1157ft Lost Prarie - 3560ft WFFC (rantoul) - 737ft WFFC (quincy) - 769ft Perris Valley - 1413ft So some of you, especially if you have jumped at Perris have probably already landed at that elevation. I never needed to goo my booties until I moved to CO. The landing areas here are dirt/gravel/sand/cactuses/crap after almost wearing a hole in the bottom of one from sliding out my landings I had no choice but to goo Fly it like you stole it!

hehe...good thing all hook does is a 180. btw...BB can you please brief the local video guys to not bother running out to the landing area when he lands, it really is rather unentertaining. Although it is really nice knowing who will be the first one down setting the pattern. Fly it like you stole it!

Well unless you were lurking like I usually do. But then you get the crappy tandem spot and have to dump high to get back. Last person I talked into making a jump which I wasn't even trying she was out to watch her friends make a jump. So after she decided to do it and filled out the waiver, the 1st thing she said to me was you are going with me right? You talked me into it you have to go. So since Derek was her TM I of course got to lurk, she was totally stoked, although Derek did say she wasn't impressed in the plane with me napping. Fly it like you stole it!

Man you get to do it with 88 jumps, I have 350 and Derek still won't let me go. Something about his heart not being able to take it. It doesn't help either that Nick told him how horribly scary it was when shanda did her 1st. I mean I'd even let him pack my canopy for me so that would be one less thing he would have to worry about. Fly it like you stole it!

You can also get it at ACE hardware and while you are there you can pick up the silicon spray for your once a month cable cleaning. You do do a once a month cable cleaning....right? right?? "hello is this on?" *tap*tap*tap* Fly it like you stole it!

This is why we have the 10 ft rule Far enough so we won't wake eachother, but close enough to shoot unwanted visitors if needed. Fly it like you stole it!

Ok, if we drive we will be getting there either late on the 28th or ealy the 29th. If we fly into skydive AZ we will be getting there the 28th. BB...what is the info for flying into skydive AZ? I'm sure if we fly Derek will get it but just incase there is something that makes flying not looks so good we will know before we decide. Fly it like you stole it!
