DFW sucks ass when flying American (really it is American that sucks ass)... A couple times I have had to wait on the tarmac for a gate to open up, because of "unforseen departure delays"... Don't have time to read the entire thread so the point may have already been made: In talk back, people are exercising their right to freedom of speech, with some general "no personal attack" guidelines guiding them (I have to say, I am surprised and pleased at how well this self-policing seems to work). If someone says that they hate the French or Syrians or flat flyers or truck drivers or otter-scrubbers or whoever (either outright or implied), then deal with it. It is their right to express their feelings... It is then OUR right (and duty as intelligent humans and readers) to filter out the meaningful posts that may bring up some discussion worthy issue from the juvenile crap.... Freedom of speech is a great thing. The fine line of where to regulate it (i.e. shouting "fire" in a theatre or allowing personal attacks to clog up a forum of limited bandwith) is a hard one to determine... Also, although you may deny it... You may well feel regret... they don't put cops in officer involved shootings on admin. leave and stick them in counseling for nothing.... Well, do what you want... If I wake up, and see some guy running OUT the front door with a TV in his hands... I ain't gonna shoot the guy. A TV, even a cool big flatscreen,is not worth a life, even a scuzzy crackhead one... I will round up whatever family that may be present, hole up in a room, call the cops and wait, rather than start capping off rounds in an urban environment. Now... a guy coming IN my house... It was my experience that ripstop will not stick to zero p at all... so, for emergency stabilizer repairs and stuff on 384s and the like, either we busted out the type 3 tape and went to town, or we busted out the ripstop and sewed it to the canopy... the adhesive will still do a number on zero p fabric though... __________________________________________________ What would Vic Mackey do?
