    I am aware of the differences.... I am an experienced video guy, but have some neck issues that demand not having a huge amount of camera hanging out the front and screwing up helmet CG.... Side mount you say? Bah! I have a TRV series Camera, and do not want to spend the gazillion $$ on new PC type camera, new helmet, new mounting hardware, etc etc.... __________________________________________________ What would Vic Mackey do?

    Yeah, well, in the interest of getting rid of the black death reverse riser, no channel inserts at all risers I currently jump, I think I will have to settle for non-idiot proof....     OK... In anticipation of my NOT receiving any replacement risers from my current vendor of choice (they are lagging badly), how about this. I picked my current vendor because they are the only ones that cap the ends of their inserts. A replacement vendor (the Mirage guys I think) does not do this, but can't we just work around the perceived problem by trimming the cables down to a length where the ends will not stick out the ends of the channels (which is the point of the caps)... __________________________________________________ What would Vic Mackey do?

    Are you asking how to replace the cutaway cables once you have pulled the cutaway handle on your soft housing equiped Javelin? My advice is unless you have been shown how to do it before, go see a rigger and have that person walk you through it... the stupid hook method shown in the old manuals is a good way for an inexperienced person to fuck up their rig and the cables... __________________________________________________ What would Vic Mackey do?

    Hey, I am no techno geek, I just go to movies for escapism as well. I was just pointing out one of the more glaring plot holes from both t2 an 3...
