  1. ya need to do some hybrids with that thing. they come out looking pretty cool. MB 3528, RB 1182
  2. thanks all, seeing these rigs really is helping me decide what to do for mine. keep em coming! MB 3528, RB 1182
  3. my rig will be royal blue and black. I'm not sure if I should get black and blue tyedye, or blue and white. I'm hoping someone had some tyedye colors like that, but other random colors might give me an idea too. MB 3528, RB 1182
  4. Im ordering a Wings in the next few days, and they are offering free tye-dyeing. I'm trying to decide if it would look good in the colors im getting, so post any tye-dye photos you have. (Doesn't matter if its wings or not) MB 3528, RB 1182
  5. KSUPC in kansas uses radios. Our old radios about 5 years ago would pick up cell phones or mcdonalds, but the new ones work great. Also, we train our students how to land in case the radio breaks. I think out of 200+ students I've seen land, less then a dozen had a radio break or fall off or something. MB 3528, RB 1182
  6. you need a real test dummy for this historic flight. I recommend a hamster. MB 3528, RB 1182
  7. normal hernia surgery sucks. They damage your abdominal muscles on their way in, so you can't use them for a few days. I wasn't able to do a sit up for 2 or 3 days. I had to kind of roll outta bed. It sucked. Go for the smaller incision thing if you can. MB 3528, RB 1182
  8. very funny stuff. however, if 30 C is hot to you brits, don't go to half of the world or you'll die of heat stroke. MB 3528, RB 1182
  9. Don't keep it from them. I started at 19 and decided that i wasn't going to tell them until I got my A license. However they found out from a friend of a friend and they were PISSED, but mostly because i didn't tell them what i was doing. They've gradually accepted it. My mom is terrified for me, and my dad thinks its stupid, but he's ok with it. However this took many arguments and years of safe skydiving before they believed me. MB 3528, RB 1182
  10. several a day. all of them say the exact same crap, don't even respond to them. MB 3528, RB 1182
  11. I would volunteer if there was a valid reason to. I would not volunteer at the present time however. MB 3528, RB 1182
  12. arg my parents do something similar... they can't wait for me to go home to visit. then once I'm there we fight and argue all the time. Its annoying and stressful. when i leave they get all sad and tell me to come back soon. MB 3528, RB 1182
  13. those are special blanks that have very little powder in them. i bet the firing squads get some type of special blank that has a lot of recoil. back on topic I couldn't be in a firing squad unless the criminal did something really really horrific. especially if it was a personal crime to me, i.e. he tortures my family to death. Then I'd aim low and blast his balls off... let him bleed to death. MB 3528, RB 1182
  14. geez let them have their forum. its not infringing on your rights. you can still read and post, just be respectful in there. MB 3528, RB 1182
  15. I didn't even know that kinda stuff was possible under a non-rigid wing. MB 3528, RB 1182
  16. Do you, by chance, have children of service age? Have you, yourself, ever served? no, and i really have no idea what it has to do with my comment MB 3528, RB 1182
  17. TNT, c4, nitroglycerine are all poisonous too... according to you, bill, using explosives is chemical weapons. we better stop using mortars, bombs, and hand gernades. gee i guess the US should beat people to death, so we dare don't get chemicals on them while we shoot them or blow them up MB 3528, RB 1182
  18. unfortionately I agree with this. Terrorism leaders are like Hydras... you cut off one head, and 2 more grow in its place. MB 3528, RB 1182
  19. is there some advantage to the 3 or 4 grommet bag? Why did manufacturers start using them in place of 2 grommet bags? MB 3528, RB 1182
  20. I wouldn't go with a sky mask if I where you. It seems like a good idea, but if it shifts around on you, you'll be blind till you get it off, or twist it around. remember, your face will only be cold for about a minute, you'll be fine. Definitely use gloves if your instructors will let you. Ask around at the DZ and see what kind of gloves work best, or search the forums for gloves. If you are getting cold up there, perhaps wear a wool hat under your helmet... ask your instructors if you can. MB 3528, RB 1182
  21. we had a pilot in a c812 do a flyby about 10 years ago, and hit power lines. luckily the prop cut them without trouble, except for damaging the prop. MB 3528, RB 1182
  22. I've shot both .22's and .22 magnums. Magnums have a bit more kick to them and can travel much farther then normal .22s. However they still punch the same size hole in a target. And they are a little more expensive then normal .22s, but still fairly cheap. But I never saw the advantage of the .22 magnum over a normal .22. I think you'll have better luck just gettig a standard .22 and plinking with that. MB 3528, RB 1182
  23. oh god don't give them anymore ideas. We'll be hearing about big bad america trying to suffocate poor innocent children with the chemical weapons of smoke gernades MB 3528, RB 1182
  24. bwahahhaha I thought you were serious till I open the picture MB 3528, RB 1182
  25. someone post a link to it when they find it. I'm lazy. MB 3528, RB 1182
