  2. Everyone who hasn't seen Cutaway, you need to. The skydiving nicknames in there are classic. What name outta the movie would you want? MB 3528, RB 1182
  3. now thats a dixie chick concert I would pay to go to. Watch 1000 texans rush the stage lol MB 3528, RB 1182
  4. I beleive our best sources of future energy are fusion (god willing), nuclear fission, and tidal power. The problem with hydro and wind power is that there are good spots to locate them... and most of them (especially hydro) are already taken. MB 3528, RB 1182
  5. I beleive PD said that the best recovery from turbulance is full flight. and of course, the best way to avoid jumping in turbulent winds is not jumping in them MB 3528, RB 1182
  6. you can always start messing around with your canopy, at altitude. Learn riser inputs, harness inputs, dives, recoveries, etc. I have no clue on at what jump number you can start swooping though... all I know is I have 500 jumps and I don't swoop MB 3528, RB 1182
  7. a 60 way with 160 jumps? you are an optimist I second the duct tape and leatherman tool. McGeyver once built a CASA with those... in case you guys need another plane. MB 3528, RB 1182
  8. what would be the benefits? Its not like you need the bumpers to protect the slider grommets, since a reserve will only have the slider come down the lines quickly maybe 2 or 3 times in its lifetime. (wild assumption) Although I do see a possible problem with it... if the bumpers somehow come loose during a deployment and travel up the lines, causing a hung slider on the reserve. Bumpers are also a (very small) snag hazard? MB 3528, RB 1182
  9. if you are tumbling badly when reserve PC comes out, its quite possible the PC will wrap around an arm, leg, neck etc. MB 3528, RB 1182
  10. at least it gives me plenty of post-whoring time MB 3528, RB 1182
  11. i think the donkey punch would make me get the dreaded punch-you-in-the-nutts. I don't like getting that one, so I've held off on the donkey punching MB 3528, RB 1182
  12. Wouldn't that be inch-hour, kind of like how electricity is measured? Pussy should come with an inch-hour meter so one can tell how much pipe's been laid . something tells me some chicks wouldn't want that kind of meter visible MB 3528, RB 1182
  13. I gots me an OBX shirt MB 3528, RB 1182
  14. you can't count multiple otters as different planes!! or I'm going to count all the different C182s that had wing extentions, 3 bladed prop, engine upgrades, etc. MB 3528, RB 1182
  15. And I think thats a great idea for a normal malfunction.... altitude permitting. Its good to get your malfunction drills down, the same way most of the time. But for unnormal stuff like dislocating arms, horseshoe malfunction, etc, different procedures might need to be followed MB 3528, RB 1182
  16. http://cbs2.com/watercooler/local_story_165081610.html gold dectector? I wonder who sold him that lol MB 3528, RB 1182
