  1. Part of that is population density. I live 40 miles from work. Where I live we have cows (and a DZ). I don't want to live in a city like NY, Philly, or London. I LIKE having grass around me, and where I can hear crickets. I COULD live closer, but the entire population living only in the cities creates more problems.... So Public Transportation will not work for me...It would take me 4 hours to get home from work. Thats your opinion. Mine is that we don't want to join a group that will try and tell us how we can run our economy. They and maybe you are more for the ecology than the economy...Others are more for economy over ecology. There is a balance...The Kyoto treaty was not it. 2. Thats still not a reason to not have a National DL. I have a FAA Pilots License....At some Airports I am allowed to do a mid field take off, left or right patterns...Hell I have been at one airport that will allow me to take off from the taxiway if its clear....It gets worse with the Helicopter. One Airport I am allowed to take off from the tiedown..At another I have to hover along the taxi ways all the way to the *end* of the runway, then use the runway to take off. (Like I NEED a runway???? I have been flying for 5 mins already). But different Airports have different rules and I have to know the rules when I am there.... There are more airports in any one state than there are states. If I don't know the rules, I fly by the most restrictive set I know. Don't know if a U turn is illegal? Dont make any and there will not be a problem. Speeding fines are different BY COUNTY here in FL. So that argument does not apply either. 3. I am sure that has been thought about...But I am also sure that it will be thought more about later. I don't see joining a group that does not have a single countries best interest at heart as a good thing. Free market will decide. 4. Yep. I have several friends that tell em that they love me. Female friends say that a lot. I even have two male friends that tell me that...Both are straight. But they are like my brothers and after the shit that we have been through together its normal. One I have known since I started jumping and I would fly to CA to help him hide a body. The other came home from Iraq and called me that day to tell me that he loved me. It surprized me, him, and his Wife and Father....But he had just been through some shit and realized that life is short and when you care about someone...You tell them. I mention these things to show that you can love someone and not want them. To "Love" someone is to care for them, to know them, and to tell them you love them is to let them know that. It is not about sex. We always get confused about that. Love means many things. 1. Erotic Love....This is the "Damn she is hot I want her" love.. I can sleep with someone and not love them. 2. Love for your Family...I Love my Father, Mother, Sister, Brother...But I don't want to have sex with them (I never lived in ARK, even though I jumped there). But my Family comes over some piece of ass. 3. You can love your Children...To the point of dying for them, or killing to protect them...Still no sex. I don't have kids, but I have seen and heard enough to know that the love for them is very strong. 4. You can have a person who you know so well, that is also your best friend. But still no sex. Most people think love is #1 and #4 combined, but they can be seperate. The really lucky ones do find #1 and #4 in the same person. Lets call that 5. 5. The love of your life. Soul mate...whatever you want to call it. It is clear to me that if they "tried" to have a "1" but it didn't work...Then they will never be a "5". And if you are with her, and he is not, that is further proof. I would not worry about it. And worrying about it will cause more problems than her writting those three words could ever. That is not to say that you don't have the right to be upset, or that you should not ahve told her that...But Jeliousy never makes you look good. She knows it upsets you. Let it go. If they took vacations together...That would be a sign of a possible problem. But words written on a piece of paper? Nope. 5. When was the last time a white kid tried to hit a cop after stealing a car and leading them on a chase? Color had nothing to do with it. Do stupid things, pay the price for your actions. I hate when people play the race card. This kid was driving a stolen car and lead the police on a chase....He then attempted to use the car as a weapon. Black or white the shooting was justified. Sad, but you wanna prevent it? Don't steal cars and run from the cops...And by all means don't try to use a car as a weapon. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  6. 1. Those cars do not exist yet. Are you willing to pay 10 for a gallon of gas till those cars are available? 2. What about those folks that can't afford those cars when they do come out? I can buy one, I bet you could too....But lets say I could not buy one...I drive 80 miles a DAY. I spend 75-100 bucks a week on gas. at 2.00 a gallon. That would be 500 bucks a week on gas. Now if I could not afford to pay that, and can't afford the new car, I am screwed. I bet there are more people who can't afford 10/gal gas or buy the new 100 MPG cars that there are folks that can. What about them? Welfare? Should the state buy them new cars? "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  7. It would not benefit everyone equally. 80% of the world would not have to follw the "rules". Anyone following the "rules" would be unable to compete in a global market. That would not be "equal". As I have said before, there is a balance between living in a shit hole due to polution, and being forced to live in a grass hut hunting with sharp sticks. You don't see that. Because it will create more problems for us, than them. You want clean air? Great we all do. However, I am not willing to run the US economy bankrupt to do that....You might be, I'm not. Im glad the President sees it more my way. We have PLENTY of things we can do to clean up the US. Why do we need to do it with other nations? Why can't we just do it ourselves, why do we have to be in a "club" to do it? And then even when we try to do better things, we get hit from our own side. Take Hybrid cars...CA wants you to get one, but they are now talking about taking you by the mile you drive, and not the gas you use? That makes no damn sense. What makes less sense is to have to join a "Club" to clean the environment....Particularly when the "club" has "rules" that will hurt our economy. 8. OK, 1. Glad to have you back...Without you an PK...I almost was bored. 2. What are the reasons a National ID is bad? I mean why not have a National Drivers license? "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

  10. NSL I think has dropped the tunnel camps. Airspeed has a tunnel much closer to them in Perris and will soon have one on the DZ. Sally Hathaway has tunnel camps Mojo has tunnel camps planned. Also I can hook you up with Chromy a well known instructor that lives in the area and he can give you coaching anytime you want. I also coach, but only nights/weekends. Mojo just held a 12 hour camp this mth, have another 12 hours next mth (full), and 14 hours in May (That might be full, but we might be able to add more time). You can PM me for more info if you like. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

  13. Ok, thats why they say in a video tape they have TWO weapons, and one of them is going to blast the shit out of NY...And when it does then the next "threat" is gonna casue MUCH more panic Japan in WWII thought we had an arsenal of Atomic weapons....Little did they know we only had the two we used. But they THOUGHT we had hundereds (and we encouaged them to think that). That made them surrender. A Nuke is only good for a bargaining chip in four ways: 1. MAD. You bomb me, and I'll waste you also. Think Russia and US in the 70's. 2. Invade me and I will waste some of you in a really neat way. Iran. 3. Help me and I will not have to have these things....Kinda like 2, but more. This is Lil' Kim and NK. 4. Do what I say or I'll stomp you. Think US today. This only works against a Non nuke country...Otherwise you have MAD. Also the first Country to lob a nuke will be toast. The world will rise up against them and they will be destroyed...Even the US. The real nuclear threat is from a rouge element that wants power and to envoke fear, but has no Country to lose. OBL is such a nut bag. You can't use a nuke and people know where you are. Think about it...If Iraq had WMD, and they had used a Nuke to hit Israel....Would you have minded if the World had crushed them? As someone else said...You can't use a nuke if you have a return address. Why Israel has the US on their side? Turkey would be great, but I doubt anyone wants to hand over a nuclear weapon. The risk is that the more people that have them the bigger chance one will dissapear. In your numbers you said the US "Broken Missle" rate is like .016%. Still that leaves what 11,000 you said? I have seen reports that state that some of those are lost at sea...We can't get them, so I doubt anyone else can either. And some are weapons MINUS the fissle material. Are you counting those as well? Either way knowing how bad the control is in the former USSR...Do you think Iran, or NK would have a better retention rate than the US? The real fear is that they get these weapons and give/sell/lose one to an OBL. I don't think NK will sell one, but they will threaten to do that unless we given them aid. Iran wants them to prevent invasion...a GREAT idea. However, I think they are more likely to "lose" one. And my fear is the lost weapon will be "found" by looking for the mushroom cloud. 14. did I say that? No, I said there is a balance...Quit trying to put words into my mouth that you think fits your opinion of me. If some people had their way we would have to use horse and buggy for transportation. There have been plenty of books written about both the pro company stance where it ruins the environment, and quite a few written about a pro eco group that stop companies from polluting. The economy crashes and we revert back to the middle ages. Some WANT one, some WANT the other. I see the only real way is a balance. Of course you are free to assume you know my thoughts better than me as normal. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

Yep, ya know the sad part? This was the first I had heard of it....And yes, I am bringing the whip. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  16. There is a balance. If there were no controls we would have serious problems with our environment. However, we also cannot live in grass huts and hunt with our bare hands. As for pollution being a risk to the future...Duh! There are plenty of risks to the future. Aids, Cancer, wars, Social Security.... You can always panic if you look at anything close enough. But a knee jerk reaction is never the answer. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  17. Naw, I was just wondering. It is kinda funny. I thought Elsinore Storm would have been remembered. They did quite well, and many members went on to the top teams. 18. For what reason? I think he would use it. He has already shown that he wants to create Terror. We have not been able to find or kill him. I think he would "Strike a Great Blow against the Infidels". And by doing so secure his 72 Virgins. A state like Israel will not sell/give them away if they had them. NK and Lil' Kim just want them as barganing chips for food and aid. Iran wants to have them to prevent the US from invading. But out of all three, I'd rather Iran not be playing with nukes. 23. Yes but there has to be a blance somewhere. Many folks seem to forget that companies are there to make a profit. They seem to think that companies should be there to support the EE's...And a good company that is making a profit WILL take care of the EE's. But no company can afford to pay so much that they go bankrupt....Problem is people still don't get that, they think that the busineses should always give more...Just like people think the Government should always give more. Thats a bad way of thinking. Companies are there to make money. Good companies will take care of the EE's. The EE's will provide good service. The service will bring more customers and money to the company...Then it starts over. There is a start to this cycle...Its service. Money alone does not make good service. So increasing a companies operating revenue will not always create an increase in serrvice. Many times with added income only the fat grows. So the first thing to do is make sure that the companies are running efficently before you add money. You can cut small things and not effect much. American Airlines today stoped having pillows on flights. This will save AA over half a million dollars this year. I bet most companies could do something along those lines. 25. No if you read my posts...you will see I am for free market. Which means if I would rather pay more for an American product just since it was made in America then its my right to do that. However, if I think that the American product is worth less, but costs more than say a German product, then it is my right to also buy the German product. Then American Companies can see that they are losing business due to the lower quality of the product. So they can shape up, or go bankrupt. And of course what companies are "Billvon approved" would be based on your almighty knowledge and personal opinion. Since we know you could not be wrong. The Krispy Kremes is an example. You also failed to read my posts were I talked about how my company saved 7 million dollars by using one supplier of office products for all of our locations. You have to look at the programs and see which ones have the fat that can be cut. You assume that programs have to go, and refuse to look at HOW the programs are run and if that could be the problem. Case in point. My Father used to be an Analyst for a company. I called him a "Manager for hire". He would go into a company and see how the company ran, and went to see if there were ways to better do the job. He and I have talked about this kind of work, and I have done this kind of work at my current job, so I know something about it....But the story I use to explain waste is this one my dad told me. A company had a warehouse full of widgets. They just KNEW that the widget demand was gonnna be huge. So they had a warehouse full of these widgets waiting on the boom. They kept the warehouse and paid for the warehouse so long that they were never gonna make a profit on the product. The cost of keeping the product was greater than any possible profit. There are ways to cut your expenses....day old donuts is just one example. I used it to inject humor...I guess I should know better than using humor with you. Cutting the cost of building overhead is another. Reducing the energy consumption at each location is still another. Seeing if your head count is to much is a third (One often times used to much before the others are looked into). So your claims that any one program will be lost is BS at best. In fact I think I was the first to say cut both...but I don't expect you to admit that. I have no problem cutting Exxon, or Walmart from the Government tit. I also think we should cut Welfare to just those that really need it, not just hand it out. I further think that we should cut the DoD and EPA budgets so they can trim the fat. See I don't have a sacred cow. I killed it, it tasted good.
