  1. I AM sure that You of all people know that i am guilty of things (Hotel swooping), but I was not tried in a court for my crimes, so as far as your concerned, I'm innocent How are you doing Ray? Are you coming out here for the CPC Nat's?
  2. Why are you being so combatative here. We are only having a conversation about this subject. Please try not to get so uptight. You are correct, not all guiltey people go to jail, and from what I said earlier, I believe that all people will be judged by their creator at some point in their life, or afterlife. We have a system for placing blame, and it is the American Judicial System, (even with it's flaws, and loopholes) it's the best one out there. It takes a huge responsibility on the jurrors, to not be partial, and to make a decision on the evidence presented to them. With out partial jurry's, the entire system would collapse, so we must respect the decision of the jury, and treat MJ as if he did not do these things. True what he was accused of are some of the most irreprehensable of crimes, but he was found innocent of those crimes. So do you think we should still go and harrass the guy?
  3. Yes, and that is what me all must do for ourselves. Weather I believe he is guilty or not doesn't matter. A court in our legal system, with a jury of peers found him not guilty on ALL counts. Don't you think the jury was trying to say something to the American Public? You can look at it many ways, but in our land Michael Jackson is not guilty of these charges in a court of law. That's the way the system works, and we have to uphold the system, for it to continue to work. If you have a better idea on how things should be set up, then I would like to hear it, but we cannot go around judging people from what we read in the papers, read on the internet, or see on TV.
  4. Dude, Have you actually read the thread, or are you just shooting from the hip? Earlier I said that I know the system isn't perfect, and that it has it's loop holes, but it's the best one in the world.
  5. And you believe everything you read on the internet? How about everything you see on television? Do you think the media is not biased about anything?
  6. I wouldn't be very happy if people started flinging names around in my thread. I'm going to sign off for now as I have to get dressed and go home. Work time is over. I'll see you guys back here on the same Bat Time and Same Bat Channel (35-45 minutes), to continue to defend my thread. Grant
  7. And you post brings me back to my original argument. WE MUST NOT CONDEMN THIS PERSON. He was found not guilty by a jury of his peers, on all accusations. We were not at the neverland ranch, so we do not personally know what went on there, so we must not make accusations. Wheather he know's he is guilty or not, that is something he has to live with.
  8. I alway's tho8ught this type of conversation would be sent to the SC. I don't post in Bonfire or SC as much as I follow swooping forum. Sometimes I see things getting posted that slide through, and sometimes I see things get locked down or moved pretty quickly. You never know. The moderators do a good job though.
  9. Why, Are you sitting in your office naked?
  10. Let's flip this around... Do you think that people sending their children to Neverland for money might be predators? It seems like a distinct possibility to me. People do some pretty bad things when it comes to money, and sometimes they bring their children into it. Not everyone is the moral rightous when it comes to children like you and I are.
  11. I'm sitting in my office naked. Office policy kind of frowns on that. How about you?
  12. I can just see it: Inmate A:" What are you in for?" Inmate B:" Murder... What are you in fo?" Inmate A:"Skipping jury duty..." Inmate B:" Man You a hard cold motha fucka"
  13. This is my 17th post in this thread. I'm surprised the greenies havn't yelled at us.
  14. Did you know that you missed jurry duty, or did that kind of come out of left field. I got called up several time for jury duty in Houston, but I was active duty at the time, and wasn't living in the state, so it would have been a little hard for me to go.
  15. Dave, I don't think MjoSparky was trying to recomend that we all skip out of jurry duty. My thought process on it is, I you have any inkling that you may be partial in any way shape or form, then you need to get off the jury. On a seperate issue, listen to the media right now. These guys are having a hey day with this.
  16. Betzilla, You have a point. Mr. Owens, I thought that was pretty funny!
  17. I'm not familiar with the McMartin Trial, so I can't comment on it. I think Jurry's would have enough sense to look beyond the financial status of a person, when making verdits about guilt. The jury has an awesome responsibility placed upon them, and I think most jurrors try to be fair. It's human nature for people to hold grudges, and to be judgemental, and I'm sure everyone here realises it. But the Jury system is the best we have. It would have to be a pretty big case for a higher power to come down and decide these things for us. As far as the Lwyers go, I believe some lawyers are better than others, just like some people here are better skydivers than others. I'm not as good as the pro swoopers, but that doesn't keep me from trying. Maybe somebody would have trouble if they had poor representation, but I don't think it's fair to blame the jurrors for that.
  18. Rebecca, Thanks!!! That means a lot to me. I just feel if we did things the way I was saying, then we wouldn't have as many problems here, and a lot more things could get done. HIFLY, No I'm not personally a fan of Michael Jackson, but I am a fan of America, and it's great justice system. Sure there are some flaws here and there, and yes there are loop holes in the system, but take a step back and look at the big picture. America has the BEST and FAIREST judicial system in the world. Would you rather live in the middle east where some lady could be killed because she was accused of sleeping outside of the marriage? Do you see what I'm trying to get at?
  19. Wierd and bizzare isn't against the law. If it were that way then we would be back in the times of the Inquisition.
  20. Martha went to jail because she didn't admit to having the insider knowledge. Do you honestly think they would have sent her to jail is she said she had the info, at least not for as long of a sentance.
  21. Of course!!! You are so right Dave. I had a post about this kind of thing in the speakers corner. No matter what you do here, I believe that you will be judged the day you die.
  22. Were you in there? Did you see him molest someone? Maybee the prosecution should have called you up for depostions.
  23. The panel of peers has to come from the likes of you and I. America isn't made up of Rich people and celebrities, but of people like you and I. MJ or any other celeb is a person just like you and I, and if they are guilty then they need to go to jail just like you and I would, but if they are innocent then they need to be treated as such.
  24. I know what you mean, but I have a faith in the system. Weather we like it or not, we do not know what happened behind the door of MJ's room, so we must try to not condemn this person, before the system does. The system found him not guilty, so we must treat him as a not guilty person.
