I was 11 jumps on the dope rope before my "pre-second" freefall. Then it was 2 5 sec, and 2 10 secs. Then on the 20 secs, I was stuck for like 5 jumps because of a built-in turn that magically stopped everytime I looked at the altimeter. I nearly had to transition off to AFF to correct that problem. Until my instructor Mike Bell figured out that it's because I didn't have a reference point to key off. One jump w/ Mike, and big Mt. Ranier was too obvious to miss. After that, I'm on to the big plane babay!

Have you thought of mass producing such a novelty? Dude! I think it'll sell like hot cakes. Remember back in Dessert Storm - there was TP w/ SH's face on every sheet

Me? I wait till a new version is introduced, go to eBay and bid on the old stuff (not version/model). There's nothing wrong with being a little behind on technolgy you know. Unless of course you're in business and technology is critical to your profitability. IMHO.

You didn't miss much Mark. The Knights must have circled the stadium 7 or 8 times and throwing out wind drift indicators (5 in all), but that's it. Winds are high and changing directions. For those who don't know Safeco Field, it's between I-5 and the Alaska Viaduct (Hwy 99). An off-landing is a scary thought But I still got ~30mins goof-time

If you're into war movies, check out A Bridge Too Far w/ Sean Connery, and The Bridge Over the River Kwai w/ Alec Guiness (Obi Wan). I like parachuting scene in A Bridge Too Far better, but The Bridge Over the River Kwai is a little more light hearted.

What surprises me was that the mal. could have been prevented w/ a gear check before boarding. And the hard pull reserve? Could have also been prevented My favorite scene though is the "gift wrapped" CRW action
