  1. Mine lasted me close enough to a full year. Them CR2330 batteries are not easy to find at your local pharmacy or radio shack. Good thing my DZ carries them. In case you've never opened the battery cover, there are 2 tiny springs in there. Be careful when you flip the dytter over to knock out the old batteries that you don't lose them.
  2. In that case, shouldn't you have looked before you pulled? At least I do

  10. Sometimes I wonder about commercials that suck. They sure get my attention. I might even spread the word by saying something about it. But would they get my business? I'm thinking if they're intentionally sucky for that purpose
  11. What's this? Edit :Oh never mind. I see your frustration
  12. Whoa! 253 area code just like mine How could I have missed that Thanks for the quick reply. I think I'll wait till the price on the 880 drops. Best price I found on one was $532.25 but I don't think my wife will swing
  13. I came upon this joke that reminded my of Holly's avatar. I hope it'll put a smile back The other day I was on my way home from work when the most remarkable thing happened. Traffic was heavy as usual, and as I sat there at a red light, out of nowhere a bird slammed into my windshield. If that wasn't bad enough, the poor creature got its wing stuck under the windshield wiper. Just then the light turned green and there I was with a bird stuck on my windshield. Without any other apparent options, turning on the windshield wipers seemed the only thing to do. It actually worked. On the upswing, the bird flew off, and here is the crazy thing... it slammed right onto the windshield of the car behind me. No, it didn't get caught under the windshield wipers of that vehicle, but the car behind me was a police car. Of course, knowing my luck, immediately the lights went on and I was forced to pull over. The officer walked up and told me he saw what had happened at the light. Trying to plead my case fell on deaf ears. He simply stated: I am going to have to write you up for flipping me the bird.
  14. I'll have to agree with the Zen Meister. Tell them that you'll jump out of a plane for it. Hey you'll jump anyway ~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~. >>>>>>>Good Vibes Jessica
  15. Thanks man. I've got that printed up and pined to my cube wall.
  16. Kevin922 posted a thread and Gold Coast set up a page to help out an injured sister once. I'm sure some of us would gladly extend a helping hand if we knew who is going to be responsible for making sure the funds get to them. Perhaps their home dz would be the starting place to send our get well checks to?
  17. A local camera store is selling refurbished units for $200. Is this a good price for a starter kit? I've found a pretty extensive review of the camera and it's manual. I haven't been able to find out if I could connect a remote switch to it however. And Harbortronics doesn't list the camera among those compatible with the DigiSnap. In other words, if I bought this camera, should I just live w/ the fact that I'll never be able to use it for freefall photography?
  18. How the heck did that happen?
