great idea.... take it to the bridge, i've seen video of someone taking a rather small canopy off of it at bridge day. It wasn't packed, just flaked and handheld. It was NOT pretty, and the fellow is probably real lucky he didn't get hurt. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes!

these posts come up now and then, and it always boils down to the same answer: Skydiving is a very personal choice. If you feel you need to step back, you are probably right. I will leave a generous tip for good service at a restaurant or bar. I give the delivery guy a couple of bucks because I've been there. I must agree with some of you however, that our culture is far too engrossed in this whole tipping thing. On more than several occasions in nightclubs I have been basically accosted by these guys in the restrooms who hand you a paper towel and expect a tip. I'm sorry, but I don't really need some weirdo sitting in the bathroom watching me piss and then turning the water on for me. It's fucking weird and I will not tip you..... not necessary but it sure makes you realize that you can't take much for granted.We've escaped some big storms for quite a few years, and quite frankly I knew this was going to happen. I've been telling Paige we are gonna get pounded for about the last 3 years. The hurricane gods were just saving up. It's really not funny, we still have 800 people in shelters and thousands with no power. I guess it's the price we pay to live where we do. I guess we could always trade it for earthquakes, floods and landslides. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes!

I can't believe none of you have mentioned Sublime. The self titled album and "40 oz. to Freedom" are two of the best albums I own.
