there's a sky diver at the dz in waller that can fall up to 185 on his belly, i know, i didn't believe him either, but he's got the curve printed out from his pro-trac, i saw it with my own two eyes! he's a good sky diver, and has great fall rate control! i'm working on mine still!

**(I hope there is no spies watching me post this right now)** i hate to tell you this, but if your posting this from work, and you've been warned already, your "flagged" as well, they'll be watching EVERY e-mail corospondence you send, or recieve, trust me. i hate it more than anyone, but learned the hard way myself. jeez-us-h people! lighten up a little. why is it "anything" goes on the dz, and this our dz home away from home there are a few who get *bent* over the cute little jpeg of a few females having a contest? i was once present on a dz where a videot was being gratified in front of everybody orally, with cameras rolling, hard core porn? i dunno, didn't stay, but amusing to say the least. does "watersports" include surfing the swoop ditch? **Now I have seen everything!** oh trust me, you haven't seen everything......YET!

check out my post in "error and bug" reports about this very subject, i believe you will find your answer. Richard "Gravity Is My Friend"

**but it IS exactly as advertised.** that's exactly right, i figured the post caption would indicate what was entailed in the jpeg image. i didn't know women could do that, it's slightly amusing, at best, but worthy of inducing the "chortle" ability we all possess! i kinda figured as well, i noticed a post about giving and performing oral sex not long ago, so i thought "what the heck" it is, what it is............ **After several long months I have finally persuaded my SO into doing a tandem. She sort of wants to do it but admits to being petrified at the thought, obviously.** my wife is the same way, so i FINALLY, after begging for months on end, pursuaded her to sign the wavers and go up in the otter for an observation ride, she went twice, and she's getting closer to doing a tandem with bob. try coaxing her up for a ride to break the ice!?! **Nener Nener Nener......we have one all weekend at Skydive Atlanta....plus balloons....** ah........who cares? we take what we can get, when we can get it, and you don't get to dive tomorrow anyway, i saw your post, you whuffo! just bustin' your chops clay! Richard "Gravity Is My Friend"
-
i'm assuming you don't scuba-dive. i'd seek a second opinion and find a remedy to my situation!
-
D: i'm with ya on that one!
-
i'll be a "diving fool" tomorrow as well! we got an e-mail from the dz, the casa is stopping by for fuel tomorrow evening! *ain't that a bitch?* hopefully we'll get a dive off of her tailgate before she leaves!

**Do want to be sat next to a panicking spineless tosser when a chopper is about to ditch in the North Atlantic?** this is EXACTLY what was going through my mind when i did the interview (Conoco, Houston) *dikheads* i'm thinking, hell, i could get blown up, drown, or crash into the water flying a cheezy sikorsky S-76, or a huey, and they're worried about what i do in my 14 days off? f*ck em, i didn't want to go over there anyway, i'm probably fixing to be sent to the oman desert for saudi-aramco. (don't want to go there either!) these cheezy engineering firms think they can just send you anywhere, anytime they want, of course you won't refuse but so many assingments (you know the drill) you would think they wouldn't have an objection, and my boss asked if he could remove that part of my resume, i refused. so it has caused me some difficulties, but f*ck the establishment! i'll get to work soon enough, and then i'll be gone for months, jonesing for freefall...................... whoever stole this guitar will surely burn in hell! that's "damnable doings" it's admirable that gibson is doing what they are though. wonder if i could get somone to lift my 1991 set of ludwigs? J/K
-
might just be me, but that's humourous! Richard "Gravity Is My Friend"

D: i've NOT gotten a couple of assingments because i skydive. but to address the posts, yes, my jump numbers, etc...are posted in my resume. i interviewed with an offshore oil company not to long ago, and was told they felt my skydiving would not give them the "comfort" level they needed to ensure i'd be around from start to finish on the project, ignorant, right? fukkin' suits! just to try and put this in perspective, and i feel i've clarified my position on AAD's, if you want one kewel, if not that's your decision, but this "i can't afford one" i don't know, i'd rather hear, "i choose not to utilize an AAD" in any event, years ago (in the early 60's, and 70's) seatbelts were an "optional" piece of equipment on new automobiles, if my memory serves me correctly, a $40.00-$50.00 option, a lot of people would not buy a car with seatbelts because of the additional costs. now they're mandatory, and it'll set ya back $189.00 for getting busted for NOT wearing one. another example, carseats for children, hardly anyone utilized carseats for children until it was mandatory, did it matter how much it costs? no, but because it was required, and it would costs you additional money for not utilizing the safety equipment, i doubt seriously "i can't afford it" would be an accepted excuse. **This is coming from the same person that is always preaching on here about safety above anything else and a "Chain" of "events" and stuff like that?** yep. my whole point here is it's his life, and he can't hurt anyone else. skydiving is dangerous, if you can't except that, don't get on the jumpship. if you choose to "raise the danger level" this is a personal decision, not one that should be open for criticism from others, UNLESS he would be endangering someone else's life. do i want to see someone do this, no, of course not. would i object to it if i were an S&TA, you bet your ass, if i were the pilot, would i allow it, hell no. but if he got permission to do it, and there were no objections from his S&TA, DZO, pilot, hey? oh, and just for the record, do i believe it's safe, and would i do it? of course not, unless in case of an aircraft emergency. and am i safe? yes, to the point of being anal, just ask anyone that jumps with or around me. but, i gotta tell ya, if ol' clay wants to bail low, he'll get no objection from me, he knows what he's doing, well, most of the time anyways!
-
**Yeah, but far too often i hear "I can't afford it" from people driving yuppy cars, with otherwise brand new gear.** yes, this is more what i meant, also, saying you can't afford one, and smoking five hundred ciggarettes, and drinking oceans of beer, etc...kinda tells me where they're priorities are. i could understand someone saying they couldn't afford one, and STOP drinking, and smoking long enough to save money to buy one. it's like a lot of people i see, broke, homeless, standing on street corners with signs asking for money, but the mollie-moofers are smoking, and generally have a 40 on the curb with them, i don't get it. this IS NOT an arguement for the "have, and have nots" it's just cold, hard, harsh reality. Richard "Gravity Is My Friend"

SIM, no SIM, instructor or not, if he did it at his home DZ, and it got by the S&TA, hey....what the hell!
-
could ya be a little more explicit? Richard "Gravity Is My Friend"

damn! i hate when that happens! now the afforementioned jpeg.
