  1. i'm sitting here drinking my last Guiness (nectar of the GODS MAN!!!)... opening that pic caused spittage of said brew on the screen DAMN YOU!!! that was hilarious!! -the artist formerly known as sinker
  2. "The Buck Stops Here" - Harry S. Truman "W" has had over 4 years in office with a friendly Congress and Supreme Court that anointed him. He has to be held responsible for his economic policies. I suppose you think that borrowing $(hundreds of billions) to finance his Iraq misadventure would have no consequences. *** did you hear me say that? no. I said that it's stupid to think that he is the sole reason poverty has risen. it's not b/c he's funding a war. that may be contributing but it isn't the sole factor. and if he's fucking up the economy he SHOULD be held accountable. i've never said he shouldn't be so quick trying to back me into a corner that I don't belong in, namely that I'm a blind follow of our stuttering president. I just happen to think he was LESS of a fuck up that that Kerry chap. -the artist formerly known as sinker

  5. But Clinton I admire because he came from nothing. *He is a product of the American dream.* He was not born to wealth. He is a self-made man. His lies and blow jobs didn't leave people dead in their wake. Bush's lies have. If you believe everything Bush is telling the country, you need to open up to some real questions. *** I don't believe everything Bush tells the country. In fact I don't trust him much at all. But I distrust him LESS that I distrust Kerry. And yes, what Clinton did what his life --to a point-- is admirable. But the man is a felon. He purgered himself. And he cheated on his wife in the oval office. That means nothing to many, but it means a lot to me. How could he really care for his country and honor his vows to protect it when he didn't even honor his most sacred vow to his wife? But enough of that... Bush did drugs and drank... and he admitted it, and he got help for it, he reformed, and he beat the problem. That is a success story, my friend, not something to berate him for. Clinton did drugs too... but he didn't inhale... [dr. evil voice on] rriiiigghhhtttttt [/dr. evil voice off] True, Bush's public speaking sucks. And I laugh at his stammering every time I hear it. Clinton on the other hand, is a beautiful speaker.... was clinton a draft dodger? I honestly don't recall. did he serve in the reserves? can't recall that either. i honestly don't think 9/11 could have been avoided. it might have been mitigated, but not completely avoided. and future attacks can't be either. in our free society, it's just not possible. it does no good to keep blaming the leaders. -the artist formerly known as sinker
  6. Most Hampton Inn's and Marriotts are owned by franchisees. Hilton and Marriott will not be the ones losing money. It will be the people who own them. Some owners don't have the money to spend. Hotels have lost a lot of money after 9/11. and hilton and marriot can pony their fat asses up to the franchises and help out. am i dreaming? probably. it usually isn't the richest of the rich who help the most poor and destitute. you won't be seeing paris hilton driving her porsche to New Orleans to help out, will you? -the artist formerly known as sinker
  7. well that's not at all what I was saying... I just find it irresponsible for the esteemed professor to blame rising poverty on bushie when there are multiple factors. is he contributing? likely. did clinton? likely. did kallend condemn clinton? dunno, but probably not. i'm not a republican or a democrat. i tend to vote more conservatively than not, when means I tend to vote more republican. but i'm not at ALL above criticizing the president if he's fucking up. 5 week vacation? gimme a damn break! in a few more years, you can vacation all the rest of your life! all i'm saying is let's be a little more logical and fair in our criticism instead of this stupid banter... bill, I've seen you do a fair bit about stopping that.... it's admirable. -the artist formerly known as sinker
  8. what I'm saying is that it is incredibly niave to say that George is THE cause in the rise in poverty. There are multiple causes. Blaming him and only him is naive and far too convenient. He's just your whipping boy. Now next time around when you have a bed-wetting liberal in there and something goes sour, I highly doubt you'll be beating him up. -the artist formerly known as sinker
  9. AND REI has an in house shop and good service, and if you're a co-op member, like moi, you get 10% back at the end of the year. The bike I got yesterday from them is just rad and I am in love. I even road it to the mailbox today. Saved me .07 cents in gas. -the artist formerly known as sinker
  10. You're behind a cokehead alcoholic stammering rich-boy draft dodger who started a sensless war and is botching it. And Steve what is it that transpired under Gore's watch *** uh, hello? what about most of the PLANNING for 9/11? think that started soon after Bushy took office? What was Atta doing for those 8 years while Clinton was getting blown under his desk, Al was inventing the internet and Hillary was robbing the White House? -the artist formerly known as sinker
  11. ok... question is... do you see any difference b/t someone "looting" for food and basic necessities" and someone taking a shot at a helicopter? -the artist formerly known as sinker
  12. and there is no obligation to watch the football game. Maybe boycott the sponsors and these hotels if the put them on the street. I can be pissed at whoever or whatever corporation I want to because I think they are wrong. Football is just a little game. Peoples lives are at stake. They should just cancel the game. j *** Girl, I'm right there with you!!! f*cking crazy ass footballers need to get a damn life. sorry, but esp. here in TN, they just go damn loco!! they forget all about what's really important! I just couldn't live w/ myself if I displaced a homeless family from a hotel room so that I could stay there to watch a football game. REALLY! A GAME!!!! F*CK! This just pisses me off to no end. Can you tell? -the artist formerly known as sinker
  13. PEOPLE before PROFITS. Hampton Inns (owned by Hilton) and Marriots are NOT going to go broke over loosing this. And so f*cking what that some football fans are going to be pissed for the inconvenience. Boo f*cking hoo. They should grow the f*ck up and get more a life. These people have NO WHERE ELSE to go. I travel extensively for work and know how the hotel industry works. They can TOTALLY afford to handle this. Even the ones that are "locally owned and operated." Life is not about football. It's about life. -the artist formerly known as sinker

Peer outside to see what everyone else has to go out in 5. walk to the office and plug in I need to get out a bit more during the day and walk up the hill. *** THAT is precisly my commute as well... sans coffee, mine is coke... liquid, not powder. working from home rocks. -the artist formerly known as sinker

  20. good advice kallend, can you give a little more on how timed lights actually work and how to make them work for you? the prob here in nashville is that most roads have differing mph's, some 40, some 45, some 35, some 30, some 50, and this is both in residential, business, etc. -the artist formerly known as sinker
  21. If you don't have them get clipless pedals, once I got them I will never go back it is so much more efficient cause you can actually produce power on the upstroke that the back of the peddle. hey that's a good idea... i didn't think about the upstroke power... i did however worry about if I fall not being able to get out of the peddle in time. is that a prob? -the artist formerly known as sinker
  22. I don't care but Pope Bean does. I do like yellow cake w/ choco frosting though. It's my fave. Wifey wife made some for me last night. You need to give some luv to yours for the para-gear $$... that was tops of her. happy birf day man! -the artist formerly known as sinker

  24. hey dude! how's it hangin! me, low and to the left. i'm talking about that weird song that's all over the radio now, blue orchid by the white stripes. the lyric is "you took a white orchid, you took a white orchid and turned it blue" well, I always thought he was saying "you tickled my orchid", euphamistically saying you touched my po-po!! Anyway, I just thought it was funny. ah well. HS sucks orchid! -the artist formerly known as sinker
