You profit from their scams. true, he does. but he is blinded by the bullshit, just like alot of other peeps who work there. there are alot of good kids there, and it is easy to get blinded by the bullshit that goes on... dan knows that there is bullshit that goes on there, he just isn't sick of it, YET. although, shit has gotten better since tyler started being maneger. Tyler is the best thing they got going for them, hands down.

  8. you can generate more speed if your body, "weight" is a pendulum. and when your body swings out in front of the canopy it pitches it upward. that way you don't add any input and the canopy climbs at full efficiency. although this is just one point of view, there are other ways, and ideas to do the "pop up" thing your talking about. do it too much, and it hurts you. do it to little not much help. do it just right, and you will go sailing. It kinda "just happens" and to answer dave's question. that isn't the canopy not being able to stay down on the water, it is the pilot. or stay down in the course. if you have problems popping out of the course in speed runs, try not using your rears to turn, you need to use more harness and straighten out the turn. if you arent straight, and you have all that speed, turning with your rears will pop you out of the course. you will climb off the water even more when your going downwind. try using toggles instead of rears if your not hitting it just right and are climbing off the water. if your body pendulums too much when your trying to stay on the water, the same thing happens, your body gets out in front of the canopy, which pitches it up, and causes it to climb.
  9. are you asking about the JVX? the openings are quite nice if the canopy is packed correctly. I wouldn't call the 1500 ft openings by any means.

  13. having jumped both, I would choose the JVX. and as for the lines not lasting, you can get vectran as your line if you choose to do so. see my above post. download the JVX order form and see for yourself what the line options are.

  16. riding your rears too long is a common problem. I had that problem also. there is a way to use your rears, but then get the chance to release them to full flight for a bit before you get to toggles. this is where the efficiency comes into play..

  22. you don't have to get HMA on the JVX. your choices of line are. 550 spectra 725 spectra 750 vectran 550 vectran 350 HMA
