    with a 1.3 wing loading it isn't going to turn much. but here is a technique that will help.. once under canopy, unstow your toggles, put your hands in your front risers and pull down on them. at the same time lift your knees to your chest and wiggle your legs. this will help slide the leg straps down you leg a little. that way when you lean in the harness or drop a leg and raise the other, your getting more motion from the harness to create the turn.

    I'm not so sure why you think others, or me are talking down to you. is it possible you didn't understand something in the english? you type english well so i would have never known you used english as a 2nd language. but I will highlight one thing for you. your perception to the ground changes when there is wind, if your flying downwind, to say do a 180, it is going to seem like you cover more ground "because you are" so you feel like you have to turn faster. but relative to the wind, it is all the same. so you really don't. you only do because your trying to land at a fixed point. not one that is moving with you. that is most likely why you have to turn higher. and if you add inn turbulence, updraft, rotors, thermals, or changing in the speed of the wind. then it gets a whole lot more complicated. your probably flying the canopy different without even knowing it. and please, take this post, as it is... for what its worth. all or nothing.

    the thing is, if your eyes, "perceive" that your low, you will add input to correct it, sometimes even without realizing it. peeps adding input to reduce their arc, is one of the most common things I see peeps do wrong. this is also very common.

    we CAN do better than that namgrunt,lee,hans all in pink thongs and a picture to prove to you why you should come south maby we can get popsjumper to join us .. if they send you a pic of them in a thong, whatever you do, DO NOT LOOK AT IT!. you will end up back in the hospital.

    if she ever wants to skydive again, tandem, AFF whatever. the jump, and or the AFF program is on me...with me of course, im not rich! and lee said the video is on him... so tell her, speedy recovery.

    come ask me to make a jump with you... 2 way only, I will show you some very advanced techniques on fall rate changes, so hopefully the falling low wont happen again. I say 2 way only, because I cant teach you with others around.... the key is, you got to ask for it though.

    that is a very good analogy. It is very basic, but it is hard for some people to understand. thats where analogies come in, they help people use a different train of thought to understand. the fact remains that you have to have an open mind to be able to accept something you don't understand. hopefully your analogy will help clear the air, for those that are open minded to it.
