Tottally with you on that one dterrick. My right arm came completely out of socket in freefall and I knew it was going to be useless within 1 second of looking back it it noodling in the wind. Went straight for the silver. Honestly, I'll bet there are alot of people with the attitude that going silver is like the worst thing that could happen, i.e. I'll have to pay for repack, I'll lose my freebag, I'll get rediculed. Granted, they may not think they think this, but look at how many people lately are trying to deal with spinning up mains when really they should just chop it. Unreal - just another great example of WUFFOism out there. Sometimes it really gets my blood boiling when people just plain don't listen/don't attempt to listen/don't get it/don't attempt to get it. I really hope that Oregon incident is resolved or I'm headin to Oregon with my glock BTW Kallend, growing up in Illinois, there is no such thing as scenic Actually, I do miss the rivers and lakes real bad and that glacial activity that made all those cool rolling hills is pretty darn cool too. -- (N.DG) "If all else fails – at least try and look under control." --

Speaking of movies... Do you all remember a movie, came out right around the time of the Secret of Nimh and the Dark Crystal (hell it may even have been one of those). I remember these people walking through a desert and happening upon a big old dinosaur like skeleton. The next thing I remember is they got to a huge giant reflection in the desert and crashed their way past this giant glass thing into a castle of some sort. Just my thought seeing this trend in other higher risk sports... "So that's 13 people over 2 years whose deaths may have been prevented. 6.5 a year average." You are assuming that lower wingloadings would prevent these deaths from occuring. Maybe these people would still hook in their lower loaded canopies closer to the ground? Just a thought.
