    My face hit the ground first - left a five inch divot where it hit - I was parellel to my canopy. It made me realize that I didn't know shit and needed to learn how to learn what I didn't know. It taught me to take things extremely slow with canopy flight as IMHO it is the most unforgiving aspect of skydiving. -- (N.DG) "If all else fails – at least try and look under control." --

People using inferior ideas about time between exits and freeflier's attempting to get their headdown IMHO of course. I've seen way more instances of not enough time based on uppers and plane exit speed compared to freefliers all over the sky. Both are solvable with planning. First - people NEED to be educated on proper time between different types of groups. Second - people need to be educated on how to get themselves perpendicular to the jump run and if the can't get out of a shitty headdown attempt. How true - we used to do time training in classical music studies - people would get ten seconds on the metronome, then it would go off, 99 people out of a 100 are off after just 10 seconds without. My suggestion, count SLOWLY one-one-thousand, two-one-thousand, etc...     I am not being tough - I have just seen the past five times out at the DZ people opening right on top of each other. No offense to you, I'm just getting sick of it since I don't have much control over it even though we tell people time and time again what seperation to give... Seperation is a mathematical calculation based on uppers, type of jumpers and exit speed.     Honestly - I cannot understand why they wouldn't allow a user to change target alti - seems like a pretty simple update to me as a programmer (of course not knowing how their software is built, it would bewho of me to comment on that).
