    I will be staying sunday night and doing some jumps Monday! There is also another local (kind of, he's visiting from europe for the winter) there who will jump every load every day if the props are turning, so I'm sure he's in. Even if it's just the three of us, we'll have a blast, but I think a few more will linger as well

    I love the suit diversity here in FL. I see just as many PF as BM suits, and a fair share of the others. I've been jumping with a guy lately who has a matter suit, and he whoops me! And I've seen a few GS-1's as well. It's nice seeing the way they are all made and set up etc, and I can't wait to jump more of them.     I think he means these points, mainly about the newness off the suit, not necessarily the design(as I interpret): There are not a bunch of folks out there who've done a bunch of Phantom flights. Tons of people who are now on more advanced suits did time on GTi's and can help with them. There are not a bunch of used Phantoms on the market. Hence it will be harder to find a (cheaper) used Phantom in your size. I'd happily let you jump mine but you called it ugly. "I know it's friday night, but come on.     The sad part is there were a bunch of birdies there, but everyone was doing a bunch of other stuff Ditto!! Freakin' ridiculous! You people need to bring your damn suits next time, no matter how well the other organizing is going, at least be prepared! On the up side, I'm pretty sure I'm in for a great deal on a reserve & cypres, so I'm putting my other rig in service and I guess I'll have to start freeflying again.     I apologize. Are you referring to using a phone in a certain area or to phones that are simply on in a certain area? I find it hard to believe the tower keeps a log of all phones that have reception near another phone that is in use, as the initial poster stated. If I'm wrong I'm sorry, but I find it hard to believe.... and we are defintiely hijacking. If my use of bold letters is the cause of the uproar, I'm sorry. I'll go back and delete it.     It can..... Bolas and I had an awesome 2way from that teenie Alouette. As tired as I am of it ever being the only helicopter at florida boogies, it was still an awesome jump in the keys. We stood side by side, he looking in, I looking out, and we exited together. We had what seemed like less than a foot of air between us, and the feeling was out of this world. I had an awesome visual watching him(silently) above the ground, backflying, and he had an even cooler visual of the chopper getting smaller above me. It is my favorite wingsuit jump so far!     Reminds me of the worst movie ever, Blackhawk Down. However, that is getting killed for staying and we are talking about getting a misdemeanor offense in the worst situation, unless it the NPS and then maybe a felony. I still think that qualifies as a different arena than a military situation. This whole scenario has led me to reevaluate my thoughts on the pact...... I hope it does for everyone. I agree with Faber, I would stay but still ask others to leave me. In my personal situation, please leave my gear on, I pay a lot of money for life insurance(that covers parachuting) so my family will be ok if I mess up. edited for error & getting my knickers in a bunch

    Welcome to Dropzone.com! Seems nothing here can be discussed simply. It is a place where communication can only be accentuated so much by yellow faces. Everyone sems to misunderstand everyone else, and we have to root through tons of junk to find the informative nuggets we are looking for.     Uhhh, there's really no need to hotel it, there's great accomodations at the dz. Plenty of camping space, hot showers, bathrooms, and nice FL weather. Helps as far as the after hours partying goes. I don't know the name of the hotel(s) in Zhills, theres a chain one near the dz, but there's a lot of other little po-dunk motels as well, they all are good I think. PM a local for more info.
