Same here. I am not asking to be treated differently.Regardless of what anyone thinks my first thread was not a promotion, it was a thread looking for information. My second thread was just a poke with a stick. Obviously no one seems to have a sense of humor anymore. I dare he should mess with a mod. Not even close to what I am saying. I think at one time you would have been thrilled to have people from all over the country and world coming to your site to talk about an event. Now it seem that people should feel guilty because an event is being talked about here and no money is being paid. If that is not the case then I think the free advertising comment should be retracked. After all this site was built on free advertising. Yes, you built the site but the users made it what it is. It's called word of mouth and it was free. It happened because you created a quality site. Not what I'm saying and when said people get an event that draws 300+ from all over the country and world they can PM you and ask for their own special treatment. I can assure you that I have taken many steps back in the last two years and especially the last 10 months. Great thing about my nerves is I think they have ADD.

Maybe I'm missing something here. If I am someone please explain it to me. It seems to me that the more people that go to a site the more potential money there is to be made in advertising. Right? Something said in another thread got on my last nerve. It was a reference to free advertising. While it is true that I have always promoted my events here, (incidently I have no connection what so ever to Skyfest other then since I am not doing Dublin again and the WFFC is not happening I thought that Skyfest was going to be the place to go this year) I have also promoted Dropzone.com as the place to go for information about skydiving. Does my promoting this site pay for my "free advertising"? I'm not sure. I guess not since it was brought up. My thinking in this was that since an event was moving both time and place that it would be good to get that info out there. I don't see any babysitting needed. Of course we don't know how many petty people PMed the mods about the 4 month rule. My two points would be.. ..sometimes there should be a little flexability ..sometimes you should step back and make sure your looking at the whole picture. Sometimes the picture changes while your staring at one spot. Have a nice day!!

I'm still caching a little. I found I got bored with most of the urban type caches because people are just not creative in there hides. I like caches that are well built and can be hidden kind of in the open or that have a hike attached to them. Find out what you like and ignore the rest.

You came across in your first few posts as it really didn't matter which tone I used. I hope I am wrong. I have seen people with your tone come , go and die. I would rather see someone run out of the sport then read about them in the incident reports.
