    I have no idea when he started doing business with them. My problem is that he continues doing business with them. The fact that he does shows some ethic problems in him. I don't believe this 30% figure you are using is realistic. I think it is the exception not the norm.

    One could say the same about your user name so save your judgment. I have had personal experience in my family in regards to suicide attempts. After several attempts and getting all the help you could give someone you grow hardened to the topic. After a while someone being successful would be better then the continued attempts.

    I think that him or any of them that do business with Skyride show that they really do not care about skydiving or the community but instead are worried about the dollar. I could give a shit about the corner he is in because we(the people in Georgia) tried to tell these fuckers what they were getting into but they thought we were kidding. I hope Skyride starts raising their percentage that they charge the DZs. It would serve them right. If I had 30% of my business being highjacked by someone I would do something to change it. There are too many examples of DZs surviving without Skyride to say that it can't be done.

    If I were going to waste my time I would ask them where they jump. Then start asking them if they know people. That usually does the trick. Otherwise I would ask them questions about their gear, what kind of airplane the DZ has, anything specific and they will start talking around in circles and they will know you are onto them. Usually it's not worth my time though.

    If you watch the video you will see that when the spotter calls for 5 left the pilot uses the rudder to make the correction. I am betting that he was still holding the left rudder down somewhat when the stall happened. That would explain how quickly the spin developed. If I were poised to exit when I felt a stall happening I would go. That would include being right inside the door. People leaving as a stall develops can do no harm. IMO that stall lasted way too long. That is about the limit to the time I would give the pilot before I got the hell out.

    Then we clean out the board, get rid of the group member program and vote Jan back in. This is KEY! Fact 3 - Someone on the BOD used the influence of their position for the means of negatively affecting the commerce of the members of it's own organization. (JUDGE, JURY, EXECUTIONER) Whether it is morally right or wrong, it is grounds for removal. No organization can be allowed to accept this kind of behaviour from it's executive members.

If we are going to get rid of people then we get gid of all that voted to out Skyride. And as for you notion that the law suit would not have gone to court if there was no merit, I say bull shit. There are cases creeping through our court system everyday that have no merit. Brought there by the lawyers that are getting rich from the system that they helped to create. Hey, sounds familiar doesn't it.

    This should be a new thread but I'll add my .02. He is a good guy that went the wrong way. Hopefully he can do some good in prison while he is paying for his crime if they don't put him to death. Doing good does not exempt you from the laws of our society.
