Is that a picture of you actually posting this thread?
-
That was recovered about 18 months after the incident.

Hey, i actually make them buy me 2 drinks now!! Fixed it for you.
-
This one was on and off for almost two weeks. The longest it has ever lasted for me, but like I said I thought I had it whipped and did the wrong thing.

I just got over an episode. Started with a weekend of drinking too much on a canoeing trip. I thought I had it under control and went out the next Fri. for seafood nachos. Big mistake!! First time the shell fish has set mine off. I took me most of the next week to get it under control. I have only ever had it in my toes and ankles. The only problem, the swelling causes my right ankle to dislocate. It takes days of Aleve and lots of water to get the swelling down and get everything back where it is supposed to be.

That depends, Skydive Atlanta is maybe 3 or 4 times farther from I-20 than The Farm. If you're within 20 miles south of I-20 on the west side of Atlanta, you're closer to The Farm. If you are talking about I-20 at the Ga/Al state line.

How low is too dangerous to turn?
CSpenceFLY replied to parachuteman's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Depends on the turn, the canopy and the pilot. In general terms, if you can't get the canopy back over your head and land without breaking yourself it was too low. I think you should give us a scenario to go along with this question. -
you say that like it's a bad thing.
-
Just rub one off.

I more then doubled my jump numbers for the year this weekend!!
CSpenceFLY replied to CSpenceFLY's topic in The Bonfire
I tried to call. You don't answer your fucking phone when it is me. I hope you get the gout for giving me shit about that. I feel bad enough about missing Lees jump. -
The waypoint projection is great for canopy searching also.

I'm not sure if I should be proud or not. -
That was my first thought, too...but I was trying to be HALFway nice.... Well, you know me.

Stupidity tax.

I have a 60csx and love it. I don't use all the bells and whisles but they are cool to have. I use mine for hiking, canoeing and Geocaching. I started with a last generation etrex Legend, the 60csx runs circles around it.

Sometimes it's best to nod and move on. That's what I'm doing to Big Red. There are people that would tell you to never jump out of and airplane but you don't stand around and argue with them. Do you?

Could you enlighten the rest of us then as to what the right question should have been? I am also curious to know what about her attitude might kill her. The fact that she doesn't want to listen to people who think they know all say generalized statements such as "don't do it" or the fact that she has asked repeatedly for someone to provide appropriately detailed information? Seems more like you just want to continue picking a fight. "Hey! Look at that fire, lets add some gasoline!" :P As for Hoola Hoop jumps...they are tons of fun! I have already done one and look forward to doing more. Although I am sure it is just a matter of time before someone posts about how that might kill us too. The question to ask would be "How can I do a safe raft/air mattress jump. The fact that she has focused on what she didn't want to hear and her comment about her death not effecting anyone else tells me what "I" need to know. Please show me what I posted that is picking a fight.I had an opinion about somethingshe posted. If you don't want to know what others think don't come to an online forum and ask a question.

Please show me where I used the words crappy, aggresive or sarcastic. Well then, enlighten us as to how it is going to be held on to. I'm want to learn something today.
-
I think if you go back to the beginning someone suggested the same thing and it was found to be unuseful information. Classic.

This is not true and is a very selfish statement. It effects the facility where you are jumping, it effect anyone that happens to see it happen, it effects those that have to scrape your twisted body up and put it in a bag. I had a good friend that got himself killed at my event and managed to take someone with him. That damn sure effected alot of people and put an end to a fun and popular boogie. There are several ways I can think of that an air mattress rigged with ropes and hand holds could kill someone. They all bother me more then where the mattress might land. The fact that someone told you to hold on to the damn thing should more then show you how deadly not knowing many of the things people have told you here can be. This thread started with the wrong question and you seem to have an attitude that just may kill you. I'm hoping that the attitude that is perceived here is just an internet thing. As for me.I am the ass that I come across as. Don't bother to respond to this because I won't get into a long exchange about this.

CSpenceFLY replied to lilDevil's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Well, the first thing you should do is bitch slap that guy the next time you see him. Then, tell everyone who will listen how fucking stupid what he did was. PEOPLE DIE CATCHING CUTAWAY CANOPIES!!! To do it under your reserve takes it to a new level of stupid. -
Repost but still funny.
